DWT is a bad habit that involves driving while texting. It is a variation of DWI , which is a serious offense where a person is driving while intoxicated.
Most people don't think that DWT is a dangerous issue because they have confidence in their ability to multitask. However, many studies show that their confidence is misplaced since driving while texting is oftentimes more dangerous than driving intoxicated.
Interestingly, people typically don't use DWT when they are driving. They usually use it when criticizing other people who are driving while texting.
