Duetone Camera turns your camera into a two-colour studio: 15 duotones and six looks (Smooth, ASCII, 8-Bit, Halftone, Papercut and X-Ray), live in the viewfinder.

Frequently asked questions

The viewfinder shows a sample photo instead of my camera.

Camera access is turned off. Go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera and turn on Duetone Camera.

Saving says it couldn't save.

The app needs permission to add photos. Go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos › Duetone Camera and allow adding photos.

How do I change the duotone or look?

Tap a colour swatch or swipe across the viewfinder to change duotone. Tap a look chip (Smooth, ASCII, 8-Bit, Halftone, Papercut, X-Ray) to change how it's drawn. The swap button flips the two colours.

Can I restyle photos I already have?

Yes. Tap the photo button at the bottom left to import a photo, then pick any duotone and look. Use the intensity slider to blend with the original, and touch and hold the photo to compare.

Does the app collect my data?

No. Everything happens on your iPhone. See the privacy policy.
