Days after making the case for low-rise pants , Dua Lipa doubled down on her stance and added in the trend's cringey counterpart with her latest outfit: the exposed thong.

On Sunday, the pop star, who is currently on the European leg of her world tour, took the day off, trading in her on-stage catsuits for something much more laid-back. In a mirror selfie shared to her Instagram Story, Dua paired her loose, low-slung jeans with a flossy baby blue G-string that she hiked all the way above her hips for maximum exposure. To complete the outfit, she wore an oversized ribbed crewneck in navy, a red and beige Yankees baseball cap with her dark hair flowing out from underneath, and a red oval clutch.

Her face was obscured by her purple iPhone case, which expertly matched her manicure.

This isn't the first time Lipa has had an intentional whale tail moment. Last year, the singer wore an LBD with a logo-emblazoned thong and made it look like it was part of the dress (it wasn't), and in one of her most recent Instagram photo dumps, she showed off her lacy blue underwear while wearing low-rise denim once again. She finished off the outfit with a yellow cutout T-shirt and neon green shoes.

They have been self-isolating together for well over three months during the coronavirus lockdown.
And, on Sunday afternoon, Dua Lipa left little to the imagination as she posed in a skimpy black thong bikini after jetting to St Lucia with boyfriend Anwar Hadid.
The New Rules hitmaker, 24, took to Instagram to share a set of sizzling snaps of herself standing over a camera and in front of a stunning scenic backdrop.

Although Dua captioned the bikini snaps: "I'm shy!" it's clear she's anything but, as she flaunted her peachy derriere with pride.
The singer displayed her slim physique and numerous tattoos in the photographs, which included a shot of her wearing a bucket hat.
The couple had originally been holed up in 'a random Airbnb' in London, after the hitmaker returned home from her Australian tour to find her flat flooded.
Dua recently shared a gushing tribute to her boyfriend as he turned 21 in lockdown, writing on Instagram: 'Happy Birthday to my loveeee, my light n best goat daddy there is!!! Everything is better with you'.

We've been living for Dua Lipa and boyfriend Anwar Hadid's holiday snaps in recent times.
To add to the envy, Dua posted a snap of her incredibly toned figure in an itsy bitsy black triangle bikini, on their holiday in St Lucia. She always looks effortlessly cool.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, the New Rules hitmaker, who has just released her second album, said things are going well as she enjoys some rare downtime with Anwar.
'I'm still in the airbnb, it's all good,' Dua told the ITV show. 'My boyfriend and I are used to it, we travel a lot so we can make anywhere home.
'I got back from Australia and when the self-isolation thing started to happen, I quickly had to find a spot.'

Speaking about lockdown with Anwar, she said: 'I'm with my boyfriend Anwar. We've been playing Xbox, reading and trying to learn new recipes.
'Yesterday we made lamb maeloubah - Anwar's dad sent us the recipe. It was fun to cook together, which is lucky because it was a three-hour activity; it's the most ambitious thing I have ever set out to make.
'It's quite rewarding when it turns out like the picture. Today I'm making a leek stew my mum would cook, which really takes me back to my childhood.
'Anwar has been dyeing my hair all kinds of colours - pink, orange, red - it has been a different colour every week.'

With the release of F uture Nostalgia —aka one of THE best pop albums of 2020, feel free to fight me on that— Dua Lipa took her already infectious pop songs and infused them with instrumentals and melodies reminiscent of the 1970s disco era. Since then, Dua has been getting critical acclaim for how her Future Nostalgia album flawlessly combined the past and present, so when it was time for her to walk the Grammys red carpet tonight, it made total sense that Dua would pay homage to the biggest singers of the ’70s: the one and only...Cher!
Dua stepped out in a semi-naked gown custom made by Versace that was bejeweled to the nines in pink, blue, and white stones. The look—which, TBH, consists mostly of a bodysuit with a butterfly motif at the bodice—goes completely sheer at the skirt, with a piece of glittering fabric that separated into a high slit at the left leg.
As for Dua’s glam, she kept it simple with a flawless base, frosted purple eyeshadow, and super-long hair extensions. The whole look gives off major “Cher looking drop-dead gorgeous at the 1974 Grammy Awards” vibes.
As a reminder, Dua is up for a whopping five awards tonight! F uture Nostalgia is a contender in the Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album categories, while her bop, “Don’t Start Now,” secured nominations in the Best Pop Solo Performance, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year categories.
Fingers crossed that Dua wins big tonight!
