It's not as easy to pump, though, as it is to simply nurse one’s own baby. And it is a big commitment to breastfeed one’s own child, let alone the entire human population. (I’m thinking nature intended that way…)
But, certainly, if the need is there and there is a willing woman: Yes, someone can absolutely drink their wife’s breast milk.
And if you're wondering - both my husband and I have tried my own. It tastes like thinned out, very light and sweet cow’s milk. Can see why babies love it.
