DreamDale Update v.1.0.30

The Princess
Monuments

Monuments are a special type of structures that provide passive bonuses once erected. They require fossils for construction and upgrades.

What it used to be like:

  • A monument could be crafted by collecting its 4 parts, which can be dug out of the ground at marked spots.
  • Once you find all 4 parts, the monument can be crafted using gems or scrolls. Crafting it gives you a blueprint, marking its building spot.
  • After crafting, you need to go to the location where the monument stands; the blueprint drops onto the ground, and then the monument itself can be built using regular resources.

What it will be like now:

  • A LEVEL ONE monument can still be crafted by collecting its 4 parts, randomly extracted from holes in the ground. For the second and subsequent levels, more of the same elements are needed. Upon completing the collection of a 4th-level monument, its elements no longer appear in the drop.
  • Craft for the gems is preserved in the museum, but there's no no extra resources are required for the on-site construction.
Museum

The Museum is a unique building where monuments are managed. The current museum functionality is retained and enhanced with the ability to upgrade monuments. The museum is located on the Main Island.

For the construction of a first-level monument, a set of 4 types of fossils is required, 1 unit of each. To upgrade the monument, the same fossils used for construction are needed, but in larger quantities.

Sources of Fossils:

  • Buried treasures on islands;
  • Mines;

And teaser for the future 😉:

  • Some in-game events;
Upgrading the Monument

Once the first level of the monument is built, its upgrade becomes available. To elevate the monument's level, one needs to gather the same fossils as for the initial construction but in larger quantities. Besides the fossils, upgrading the monument also requires a payment in gems or scrolls.

Leveling up a monument increases its passive bonus.

There's a cap to the monument upgrades; there's a final level beyond which the monument cannot be advanced.

What Happens if You Had Monuments Built Already?

If you had any monuments constructed previously, they'll be retained at their initial upgrade level.

Old bonuses will no longer be effective and are replaced with new ones. You can find all bonuses here: the link to Monument Bonuses list

In cases where the backpack capacity decreases (for instance, if a Musical Kye had been erected), your current items remain in the backpack. However, to gather new items, you'll first need to free up some space.

Discover a brand NEW HUUUUGE island and continue the storyline quest with the Princess!

And also 7 new Monuments on the new island!

Now, every worker gets a fresh lease of life and a unique identity!

Each worker is now an individual entity! Upgrade each worker from their respective homes, where you also assign the resource they will gather.

Every worker gets upgraded individually. What about basic three? They can be upgraded as always at the Town hall.

All your previously upgraded workers retain their current upgrade level, but any new ones will start at level 1

Want to name your workers? Carl? Johnny? Fred? No problem!

Hi Fred!
New well upgrade system:

Changes in this patch:

  • Each well is upgraded individually.
  • Wells can no longer be upgraded from the town hall, only from the well itself.
  • Every well has its own upgrade cost and bonus settings.
  • Missions to upgrade a well to a specific level are tied to that particular well.

All your previously built wells retain their current upgrade level, but any new wells will start at level 1.
