Dr. Winger has been with the practice since 1986. He received his undergraduate degree at Yale University and his medical degree at Tufts University, School of Medicine. He completed his internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he served as Chief Resident in 1982. Dr. Winger then served four years in the United States Air Force until 1986 when he joined our practice. Currently, Dr. Winger is President and co-owner of Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates. He is a Fellow of the American College of OBGYN as well as a member of the American Medical Society, the Florida Medical Society, and the American Fertility Society. Dr. Winger, a native of Massachusetts, has lived in our community for 21 years. He is married and has four beautiful children.
Researchers have discovered that some immunotherapy treatments used to treat cancer can cause fertility damage.

Furry artist Doug Winger passed away June 23. He had been hospitalized for COPD according to the news site Flayrah .
Winger’s best-known fan art involved hyper-endowed hermaphrodite characters.
Winger formerly worked as an engineer for Republic Aviation Corporation on the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II AN/AAS-35(V) Pave Penny laser spot tracker, and in many other technical jobs.

Update 06/24/2015: Dropped paragraph of art credits listed in the Flayrah review after being advised they were in error.
There was a little confusion in the source material for this story. I believe Flayrah, the site where the original story was posted, has confused Doug’s career highlight for that of his friend Bob Guthrie, also an artist, and likely the souce of Flayrah’s information. Bob has worked has worked at an animation studio, and had several years of experience with a commercial art studio that designed packaging for various toy companies. To my knowledge, Doug had never been employed in either capacity. However, the confusion may have entered the picture because Doug did sometimes assist his friend, Bob (and, Steve, another artist in the household) with their work when deadlines loomed. I wish I had noticed this before I directed you to Flayrah’s story.
Aww. Just heard about this from Jeremy Kidd, who also talks to Bob. Doug was over the top, but always had fun with it.
