In my family, my father and I both have phones, but my mother doesn’t even have a basic keypad phone. She has never asked for one in her entire life, unlike many women today who might even fight or break relationships over such things. Despite this, my mom has lived without a phone, even when all her friends, relatives, and my aunts have their own. Whenever she needs to talk to someone, she has to borrow someone else’s phone. This really hurts me.
