Don't Stop! 15 Things About Counter Strike New We're Tired Of Hearing
Counter Strike New Revealed
Valve finally revealed Counter Strike New after weeks of speculation. It's an update to CS:GO that will put the game on the Source 2 engine and make some significant visual changes.
It also introduces responsive smoke grenades as well as sub-tick updates for servers. It's got a lot of casual gamers going wild but it is a huge upgrade for regular players.
Smokes
Counter Strike New is getting a major update that will completely change the method of using smokes in the game. These changes are being dubbed as responsive smokes and will be a major game changer. Smokes will expand to fill up spaces naturally and move around objects on the map. They will also respond to the lighting of the game, which will make them appear more attractive and realistic. Smokes will also interact with events in the game. This will create new tactical opportunities. Bullets, for example, will push smoke to temporarily clear the sightlines. Hex grenade blasts will also disperse smoke and occlusion.
Smokes will be more dynamic in the game. Smokes from previous versions were fixed-shaped objects that had a limited range of movement and vision blocking. The new smokes will expand to fill the space they are in and will block more of the player's vision when they are within the area. This is a major upgrade that will make the game more exciting and will give both sides the same visibility.
Smokes will also react to the lighting, weapons, and surroundings of the world. This will make the smoke feel more realistic and allow players to use it in different ways to gain an advantage over their opponents. This will especially be useful during the chaotic 5v5 battles that are sure to happen on every map.
Smokes are no longer a one-way. This was a major issue in CSGO, since it allowed players to see the position of their opponents from behind the smoke. Twistzz is a well-known CS:GO professional, says the new system is a huge improvement for competitive CS2 and will make it more fair for both teams.
Other minor improvements include adjusting the position of smoke particles to reduce the visibility of edges and updating the smoke overlay visuals to match their camera position. The expiration time of smokes was adjusted to be in line with the visuals on the screen.
Loadouts
Players of CS:GO can now alter their weapon choices prior to the start of each match. The new loadout system allows players to choose the weapons that best match their playstyle and team's strategy. The new system also brings new tactical depth to the game as players must balance firepower and utility.
The CS: GO Update includes a number other improvements and changes in addition to the new loadouts. The buy menu was completely revamped. The old buy wheel was replaced with a customizable grid which shows all purchase options simultaneously. The grid has been populated with five pistols, five "mid-tier" weapons such as submachine guns and shotguns, and five carbines and rifles.
The new system will be easy to use, and give players greater control over their weapon selection. It will allow them to choose the weapons that suit their playstyle and team strategy the most, as well to experiment with various combinations. They can also compare their gear with other players and observe how they stack up.
Many players have praised the added flexibility, while some have criticized it for straying from the core essence Counter-Strike. They also have raised concerns about how it could impact map-specific loadouts and agent skins based on visibility.
Despite these criticisms, it is important to keep in mind that the new loadout system is in its infancy, and will undergo more extensive testing over the next few months. It is possible that some of these issues will be addressed in future updates, so it is essential to keep an eye out for further information.
Workshop Tools are included in the update and can be turned on from the settings menu. This allows community members to create weapons finishes and stickers as and maps. The update will also live the players who are in violation of the VAC rules in matches.
The new CS GO update will be released later in the summer. Players can now check out the full list of features and upgrades by visiting the official CS: GO site.
Sub-Tick Updates
The world of Counter-Strike is updated by the server in discrete time increments called ticks. Valve hopes to ensure that CS: GO is fast and smooth. The smallest delay could alter the accuracy of the shot. A new video highlights one of the biggest under-the-hood enhancements, also known as sub-tick updates.
Rather than a 64-tick update every millisecond, CS: GO will now be able utilize sub-ticks (or as Valve calls them, "micro-ticks") to communicate with the server. Each of these tiny increments of time will be recorded by the client and transmitted to the server, which will then send back the updated game state back to players. The servers will know when you shot or jumped or peeked.
The video doesn't provide all the information. However it does clarify that every piece of data sent by the client has a timestamp and that the server will collect all the data in chronological order from all players prior to sending it back. According to the video a CS: GO will be capable of sending twice as much data as a 64-tick CS: GO.
This means that even the tick rate of the game increased to 128 Hz, the game can still handle your commands immediately. The micro-tick updates also reduce the time it takes to input by ensuring that the server responds to your commands without glitches or delays.
cs2 cases clash.gg to the game are just beginning. The company is implementing dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve the way smoke interacts with the surrounding and is also updating all maps with high-resolution textures, lighting, and models. All CS weapons and cosmetics will also get a facelift with Source 2 tools and features.
Maps
The upcoming update for Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game as well as some classics that are being given facelifts. The updates are currently being tested in a limited-test beta. The first set of maps include touchstone and upgrade maps that won't see major changes to gameplay, while others have been completely renovated or redesigned using the latest Source 2 tools.
Overpass is one of the maps that has been revamped to take advantage the new engine's unified lighting system. The map's eerie underground has been flooded with daylight to make it more spacious and less congested. Additionally, smoke grenades will now expand dynamically to fill spaces and interact with the new light.
Another map that has been revamped is Italy that has been given an overhaul in texture lighting, structure, and lighting. The new version is more balanced than its predecessor that was heavily CT-oriented. Fans can expect more classics, like Aztec and Militia, to be revamped in the near future.
These maps will not be added to the competitive map pool despite the fact that they are still playable. Train is an exception, as it has been removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve has not yet confirmed whether the other maps taken from the pool will be reintroduced.
One of the most controversial updates is one that was created by Helsingin Sanomat, Finland's national newspaper. The newspaper has been vocal in its criticism of Russia's actions towards Ukraine. This map is based off of the war-torn Donetsk. The map is titled de_voyna and contains a range of references to the war.

In the future, the developer will be releasing a collection of Source 2 tools for community map creators to make their own maps. This will include features such as improved lighting and character reading, as well physical-based rendering systems that produces realistic materials and textures. It will also make real-world objects, like windows and doors, easier to create. The update will be released sometime this summer.
