Jaimie Alexander has been tapped to star in NBC’s drama pilot Blindspot, EW has learned. The Thor actress will play Jane Doe, a mysterious woman who finds herself at the center of an investigation after climbing out of a duffel bag in the middle of Times Square with her memory wiped and no clue as to what the extensive tattoos on her body mean. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately grabs the attention of the FBI, who begin to follow the road map on her body to reveal a larger conspiracy of crime while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity. Alexander, whose TV credits include Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Covert Affairs and Nurse Jackie , can next be seen in HBO’s summer comedy The Brink , which also stars Jack Black and Tim Roth.
