Domain Name Scout ("we", "our", or "the Bot") is a Telegram bot utility operated by GB Bots. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our service to check domain name and social media handle availability.

We process the minimum amount of data required to function.

A. Information You Provide

Search Queries: When you type a brand name (e.g., "NexusTech") into the bot, we process this text string immediately to perform availability checks.
Telegram Metadata: We receive basic technical data provided automatically by the Telegram API, such as your unique Telegram User ID and Chat ID. This is required to send the results back to you.

B. "Stateless" Operation

We do not store your search history. The Bot is designed to be "stateless." Once the search is complete and the results are delivered to you, the search query is discarded from the Bot's active memory. We do not maintain a database of what you have searched for.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your data solely for the following purposes:

Service Delivery: To query public WHOIS databases (for domains) and public social media profiles (for handles) to determine availability.
Legitimate Interests: To prevent abuse (spam) and ensure the technical stability of the Bot.

To provide the service, the text string you search for is sent to third-party providers. By using the Bot, you acknowledge these transfers:

Telegram: The Bot operates on the Telegram messaging platform. Your messages are subject to Telegram's [suspicious link removed].
WHOIS Registrars & Social Platforms: Your search query (e.g., "NexusTech") is sent as a public HTTP request to domain registrars (to check .com, .co.uk, etc.) and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to check if the profile exists.
Hosting Provider: The Bot is hosted on a Virtual Private Server (VPS). Standard server logs may briefly record technical interaction data for security and debugging purposes.
