Its really cute! But the blazer's buttons broke off, but it still looks good, it also has pockets! Mine didn't come with the red ribbon thing that's supposed to go on the collar, so I had to use string. The vest was red, and not orange. And the skirt zipped up all the way when I first wore it, but now it won't so I just tuck it. All of things that went wrong, but overall, its really good.

So its a cute cosplay BUT order a size or two up. I'm an American medium/large (size 8/10). I have a larger bust so I'm used to ordering bigger to accommodate my chest. I ordered the 2xl to be on the safe side figuring I could tailor the rest if need be. However, the skirt fit perfectly when it should've been too big, the vest fit like a glove due to its stretchy nature, the button up was pulling at my chest but was able to be hidden by the vest, and as you can see in my photo the top button is no where near closing and the 2nd is hanging on for Dear life. I love the cosplay but it definitely runs super small so buyers beware!

Order a size or 2 up!

By Samantha on February 14, 2022

For sure size up. Ordered for my 11yr old. I was going to get a medium but read reviews. So went with a large. The jacket is still tight around her chest. The stitched white seems on the jacket are visible. She is happy though I do expect I’ll be making repairs and adjustments.

When I tried it one it was to small and I got a extra large the things that didn't fit were the jacket and the skirt I couldn't button the jacket and I couldn't zipper the skirt all the way up but all the other things were good other than those

Overall I liked this product. The cosplay was A little snug but not to the point of uncomfort. The quality of the material was nice but I had to replace the zipper on the skirt because it broke when I tried to take the skirt off. Other than that though, great product :)

Honestly I love this product but the Bad part is that the skirt is to short on it I would recommend it to be a bit longer so it's cannon so it actually look the the doki doki outfit

I would literally give 0 stars if I could. I weigh 190 lbs. got a 2xl and NOTHING fit. The material has 0 flexibility or stretch, the zipper that goes on the "very thin" skirt is very cheaply made and easily breakable. The jacket wouldn't even reach past my shoulders, the entire outfit (from as much as i could fit it in) was very painful and tight to wear. PLEASE save your money, I recommend buying ACTUAL look alike clothing from ACATUAL good brands. I cannot express how disappointed I was beyond this.

Ok, so. People said to size down (that the product ran big) but it’s a lie. It was too small for me, but luckily it fit my sister. I ordered it for cosplay and it took a while to arrive. For the jacket, the button holes came half-sewn closed and the buttons couldn’t even fit!!! The clothes are good quality besides all this, but I say order true to your own size.

Order this now before it sells out

Perfection! My daughter loves this. The quality is amazing for cosplay. The price is very reasonable. Nicer than expected and they got every detail of the Doki Doki Literature Club correct 💗 I would suggest size up on this!

Sizing is off

All measurements were completed including extra room for error prior to ordering and following size chart. The skirt is too small on the waist and it is really short and uneven. The shirt and jacket fit really snug. This uniform looks great unfortunately, the sizing is off and cannot wear.

Size was smaller than expected

The costume was received and seemed fine, but the sizing was smaller than expected.

Doki Doki Literature Club is full of fantastic characters, so seeing them brought to life through cosplay is just the best!
Ever since it's release in late September of 2017 , almost everyone who plays Doki Doki Literature Club has good things to say about it. From the wonderfully unsuspecting vibe of everyday high school life alongside your childhood friend and new club members to the way it's slowly but surely corrupted into something far darker, playing through for the first time is an experience unrivaled by nearly any other visual novel. Fans quickly became attached to the four girls of the literature club, and started showing their appreciation in the form of fan art, fan fiction, and even cosplay .
Today, we'll be taking a look at 10 cosplay straight out of the visual novel.
The first thing we as the player learn about Yuri is her preference for books over people, though it isn't like she doesn't desperately want someone to understand her as well. This shot of AlexReiss as Yuri perfectly captures both of these aspects of her- clutching her comfort tight against her chest while at the same time shooting the viewer an almost hopeful look, as if this might finally be the day she can make a real connection.
The background really feels out of the club itself, too- and they even went the extra mile with one of Natsuki's cupcakes on the left.
Those familiar with the series will know exactly what the phrase Just Monika means, and some fans take it upon themselves to apply that to other girls in the series, too. Here we have a slightly yandere take on Sayori by lottiedesu , and even though it says she was simply trying on a friend's costume, she looks like a picture-perfect Sayori. We wish we could see more of the actual costume but that still doesn't take away from how great this cosplay is, from the accuracy of her wig down to the makeup.
Here we have another lovely take on Sayori, this time done by purin_cos . Everything about the costume itself looks incredibly accurate, and her expression fits Sayori quite well! She even managed to capture the dual nature of her personality, appearing cheery and upbeat on the outside- but there's something about that expression that almost seems like the smile is forced, hiding something she's struggling with underneath.
She's also striking the pose that Sayori makes on the home screen of the game, which is a very nice touch.
Natsuki is known for being the smallest member of the club, but arguably having the biggest personality out of all four of the club's founding members. smol.shorty does a fantastic job at displaying the character's personality through her expression and posing- the hands resting powerfully on her hips, while she shoots a smug glance over her shoulder. Her costume is great, too, and all the details on the wig are accurate.
The location for this shot is perfect for her, too- as much as Natsuki states that she detests anything cute, her writing and interests tend to lean a lot more towards the cutesy side.
As much as Natsuki in canon tries to protest that she's anything but cute, pretty much everyone else- both the other characters in the game and those who have played it, beg to differ. This cosplay is a wonderful example of just how cute she can really be! Dashiemachine does a wonderful job at balancing Natsuki's cuteness as well as her more bitter, bratty personality, which comes across well in her expression.
The second and third pictures in the shoot feature her lost in thought while trying to write the next day's poem, and the last one features her holding one of her manga close to her chest.
As the founder of the Literature Club (and the only one truly aware of her place as nothing more than an un-romancable character in a visual novel centered around romance, before switching to horror), Monika is an incredibly driven character who will do whatever she needs to in order to get what she wants. Neoncosplays does a phenomenal job of expressing that here, no words are needed.
The confidence in her pose and gaze combined with the slight smile on her face all scream Monika, and we can't get enough. Her wig is styled very accurately, too, and the costume itself looks wonderful.
Yuri is the most mysterious out of all the club members, described as having a rich and complex inner world that she doesn't always let out easily, due to negative past experiences. However, after being introduced to the player and having several positive interactions with them, she begins to open up and allow herself to be more... well, herself. Though she's still clutching her items of comfort close- as books helped her get through her darkest times- n_wolfcos does a great job of expressing the slight confidence that she starts feeling as she opens up more through her expression and slight smile.
Longer wigs can always be a challenge to get looking natural, but she's done a great job of that here as well.
Though originally coming off as timid and insecure, with Monika's tampering, Yuri quickly becomes over-possessive towards the player, as well as incredibly uncaring towards the other girls- even going as far as to ask Monika if she's considered killing herself, and saying that no one would care if Natsuki did the same.
Razberrycos does an absolutely perfect job at displaying this more crazed side of Yuri, and the fake blood splatters and glitch effects are great touches that add to the overall creepy atmosphere. She even made a copy of Yuri's favorite book that she reads alongside the player, the Portrait of Markov, and it looks just how we'd imagine it to be.
Sayori originally appears as the most upbeat member of the whole cast, though fans of the series will know that over time, it's revealed that she actually struggles with depression and intense feelings of self-loathing and being a burden to the people around her. This shot of ngwcat is absolutely haunting, especially if you know what Sayori ends up doing because of Monika's influence.
She's clutching her arms tight around herself, almost as if she's afraid of something- perhaps afraid of what she's capable of doing to herself in a state such as this.
Natsuki tends to be incredibly short-fused and quick to anger and insult those around her, but it's revealed fairly quickly that this is nothing more than a coping mechanism so she doesn't reveal her true feelings and end up getting ridiculed, hurt, or worse. In this photoset by cottoncandy.cosplays , it's wonderful to get to see a sweeter, more honest side of Natsuki in which she's posing cutely and not running away from her feelings.
We're incredibly glad cosplayers are willing to explore this side of her, as we really don't get to see much of it in the game.
