While on tour, Doja Cat reached out to Rico Nasty for a collaboration. Rico then replied and asked her to attend one of Rico's shows but unfortunately Doja couldn't make it. [1]
Before Rico got on " Tia Tamera ", Doja sent her another song. Doja indirectly indicated that Rico Nasty hasn't recorded any vocals for that track but nothing has been confirmed. [2]

In 2021, Doja Cat went on a following spree on Twitter, which Doja confirmed was to hint at upcoming collaborations Doja had with people. Rico Nasty was one of the people she followed, implying the pair has another unreleased collaboration in the vaults.

Doja Cat and Rico Nasty are a dynamic duo. The pair stay twinning throughout the ’90s-tinged visual for Doja’s newest single “Tia Tamera,” an obvious ode to the Sister, Sister combination. Released on Wednesday, the clip features the LA native and Nasty teaming up to compete in an episode of the Nickelodeon Double Dare -inspired Double Trouble .
The Amala artist undergoes several flamboyant wardrobe changes on set, all while cooking up and enjoying some sweets. Doja then takes to the podium to show off her potent lyrical ability and delivers a raunchy opening verse. “Beat the pussy up call PETA, I rock the boat like Aaliyah/ I rock a bob like Sia (Ayy), Doja on deck, bitch, re-up/ Thick in thigh, thick in the waist/ Thick in the right motherfuckin’ places/ Hits like Venus, Serena,” she rhymes.
Rico Nasty then joins in on the fun to bring the amusing tune across the finish line, where she lets us know the money continues to pour in for the Nasty artist. “He just wanna eat me like some candy, but I’m not his buttercup/ These hoes swear that they can’t stand me, but ain’t never pullin’ up/ I just made a hundred K in two weeks, lil’ bitch, do you need me to pull it up,” the DMV-bred rapper boasts.
The mastermind behind the viral “Mooo!” sensation is now gearing up to deliver the deluxe version to her 2018 debut Amala come March, which will include some fresh sounds on deck courtesy of Doja Cat .
