Перевести · 10.07.2018 · DoggyStyle Mod 1.8.9/1.7.10 introduces dogs to Minecraft. Dogs are not wolves, they are a separate and distinct entity altogether. Thus mods which change wolves should work just fine side-by-side with DoggyStyle, but the changes will not be applied to dogs.

We want to branch out and create other mods, such as KittyStyle, LlamaStyle, and SurivivalStyle. We also want to keep updating DoggyStyle with new breeds and features. But all this takes time, so in order to have the freedom to accomplish these things, we're asking for some help with covering financial burdens. This looks awesome! I love the dog models. They're perfect! Have you thought of doing some crossover with other mods, like thaumcraft, or botania? that would be super cool!
that's why it'd be a crossover. who cares if it has nothing to do with dogs? maybe I want a super awesome magic dog that seeks out powerful nodes for me. who cares? it's a suggestion.
Is there a way to pick what breed of dog you have? (like some creative mode only wand or something)
Also, is the compatible with Doggy Talents?

Model and texture artist for Doggy Style
I messed around with this in creative mode a bit. Very nice work with the models and textures! Here's a thought: I spawned a bunch of them and they just seem to mill about. Would it be possible to get multiple dogs in the same area to play with each-other? Would be really cute. I know this might be difficult to show with animation in Minecraft sucking and all that but just having them chase each-other around.
Basically, cute stuff will be this mod's strength, I think. Nice work on that so far.

If you care so much then just don't install magic mods or the crossovers if they're made; it's not like it's mandatory to install them to install this mod.
Anyways, amazing models! I will definitely be adding this to my modded survival world!

I wouldn't rule out some other-mod-aware features down the road. I could see tracking dogs being able to sniff out aura nodes, among other things. Nothing's definite yet. Depending on the complexity, such an endeavor may require cooperation with another mod development team or an API for the mod in question, but it's definitely something to keep on our radar.
We definitely appreciate all suggestions. We probably won't be able to make everything that everyone asks for, and that's okay, but we certainly take ideas and feedback into account when planning our road map.

In creative mode there are individual eggs for each dog breed, so you can spawn whichever type of dog you like.
It is compatible in the sense that they should both work at the same time, but our dogs won't have the DoggyTalents skills. This was a conscious decision because we are planning on having skills for our dogs that are different for different breeds, and we feel like there would be too much overlap.

We do plan on having some more advanced AI and some cute (and useful) things for the dogs to do. And thanks.
We consider this version stable, though there are enough features that we're sure we want but haven't implemented yet that it may be reasonable to call it a beta.

Also, is it like real life skills? Like what the real life dogs do? Poop, chase cats (or ocelots), etc?
I will die from cuteness if I ever see these dogs in Minecraft! The textures = 10/10

We fixed a problem where dogs weren't fighting when they were supposed to. Version 1.0.1 will be available as soon as CurseForge finishes processing it.
Feature suggestion: Have planks used in the recipe for the house dynamically supply their texture to the finished product. The upper three in the recipe would apply to the back of the house, the left and right center ones would do the sides, and the bottom two would do the front.
