Bent, curved, thick, slim, big head, small head, circumcised or not circumcised — when it comes to penises, there’s plenty of variety to be enjoyed.
And that’s without even touching on balls, shades and veins.
The saying goes, it’s not the size that matters, but what you do with it.
Now, while I appreciate phalluses of all kinds, let’s be honest, some are more favourable than others.
You’ll struggle to find a woman declaring her love for the micro-penis .
In a recent study by Body Logic MD , it was revealed that 40% of the women surveyed preferred the ‘bender’, which tilts upwards and hits the sweet spot.
Runner-up was the ‘curve’, which is similar but with a less dramatic curvature, and it can go right, left, up or down.
The ‘chode’ — an overtly plump but short cock — wasn’t mentioned, but deserves a shout-out, too. It might not always reach the deep dark depths, but it’s a filler.
What makes an exceptionally good dick? To find out, I asked 20 women to share their preferences for the perfect penis.
It seems one size does not fit all.
Nothing too veiny or threatening. Some penises just sort of angrily stare at you.
A medium size is always good, pink and plush.
Dicks without a foreskin are nice, because they look much neater.
Some foreskin appears a bit saggy and sad. Girth is more important than length — about the thickness of a deodorant can.
And yes, I was in Boots checking out sizes as I thought about this.
I love an angry cock too, you know, all twitchy and veiny.
I had a bender once and it could touch corners that no-one had reached before.
It also went down my throat at the perfect angle.
I really dislike circumcised men, because I can’t cope with the actual penis.
With a foreskin, I know what I’m doing.
Otherwise, I’m not too picky, but no-one likes a really bendy one, do they?
Recently, I experienced a very girthy straight cock.
When I say girthy, I mean girthy; the same sort of circumference as a standard-sized coke can.
It was most delicious. Girth is where it’s at.
Doesn’t matter what it’s like, as long as it does the job right.
Although, I’m personally not into the chode and a bender can help hit the right spot.
I don’t really have a type, but I like ones that get really big and hard, although aren’t necessarily big when not erect.
Not a fan of circumcised penises though.
I feel like I’ve been able to work around all the dicks I’ve had.
Taking a really big cock can make things a little slower, so I tend to prefer ones that are slightly shorter and more versatile.
If I had to pick between girth and length, it’d be girth.
Although, my ex had a thick cock and it meant we weren’t able to have spontaneous sex, unless there was lube about.
I prefer a penis that still has its foreskin, but for functional reasons, rather than aesthetic.
And I love a thick vein down the shaft, so you can see it’s really hard. Not sure why else I’d enjoy a veiny presence.
Hair is OK on the balls and pubic area, but never on the actual cock.
The style of penis I prefer is any size or shape, wielded by a confident, enthusiastic partner who is interested in my pleasure, as well as their own.
I like a thick cock, veiny and firm.
And, I hate baggy foreskins, they make cocks look smaller. I don’t mind a curve and it doesn’t have to be long, but thick and proud is perfect.
A smooth solid penis is preferable, especially as I enjoy giving head and it’s nicer to do with a pretty penis.
As for intercourse, a slight bend is good but large isn’t necessarily better.
Too much length or girth is more hassle than it’s worth.
If my fingers touch when wrapped around his member, he’d better have a few tricks up his sleeve.
I like below-average in length and don’t care about the rest at all.
In my opinion, it’s more about technique than size and shape, but long ones are incredibly painful and not pleasurable in the slightest.
I’ve dumped guys for big penises, I’m not about that life.
Non-circumcised with a slight bend and proportionate length.
Think of my penis choice as the Beast from the East: a bit rough around the edges.
I never thought that I would have a preference, but recently I hooked up with someone who still had his skin and it was just odd.
Everything from how it looked when semi-hard to ‘oh my, what am I meant to be doing with this’ during the blowjob.
Generally though, you just work with what’s in front of you, right?
Just because you prefer one thing, it doesn’t mean that another will be bad.
Certain positions become uncomfortable with larger penises and things need to go more gently, which isn’t my preference.
As long as it does the job, I’m happy.
Genitals are pretty ugly anyway, but I’d rather have one that was evenly sized.
Not too aggressive or bright purple.
I prefer average or less, I find longer ones to be painful.
And, I also really like a big head.
However, there are many exceptions. It’s more about the person, their technique and openness to try new things.
Bigger and thicker than average, and not circumcised.
As long as it stays hard and tastes clean.

Studies prove that women don’t really care about penis size, there is a certain length that provides the most pleasure.
While almost all men wish their penis size were bigger, a recent study, by the University of Kentucky, which polled more than 14,000 people, found 45 per cent of men actually wanted a longer penis.
The report, published in Daily Star, made reference to the study and added that while studies prove that women don’t really care about penis size, there is a certain length that provides the most pleasure.
According to a study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, a certain penis size gives women the most vaginal orgasms.
Researchers further revealed that men with longer penis make women climax more often.
Speaking about it, authors of the study wrote that research indicates that women's orgasm during penile–vaginal intercourse is influenced by fitness-related male partner characteristics.
They went on to add that penis size, and preference for a longer penis is associated with greater vaginal orgasm consistency.
Scientists found that women who prefer deep-penile-vaginal stimulation are more likely to have vaginal orgasm, consistent with vaginal orgasm evolving as part of a female mating choice.
However, only 20 per cent of women can achieve orgasm through penetration alone – so a big penis isn’t everything.
If you have a small penis, there are certain positions which can make your penis feel bigger, doggy being one of the best positions for men with smaller penises for sexual stimulation.
While men’s agony and anxiety about their tool size and spurred several companies, there are three steps which might help make penis look bigger.
Trim your pubic hair: a big mound of pubic hair can make your penis look smaller than it is.
Lose weight: a beer belly hanging over your penis can make your penis look smaller.
Get fit: While this won't help elongate your manhood, getting into shape will not only make you feel more attractive, it could also improve your sex life.
It turns out that the average penis size which gives most satisfaction to women is about 5.2 inches (13.2cm) in length and 4.6 inches (11.7cm) in circumference.
At a non-erect state they usually measures 3.6 inches (9.1cm) from tip to base and 3.7 (9.3cm) inches in circumference.

At last, science has come up with a study we can get behind. The study, published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine , is entitled "What is a Good Looking Penis ?" But the study itself focuses on a particular type of penis : men with surgically corrected Hypospadias.
Hypospadias is when a man's urethral opening is not in the normal position at the top of the penis. Researchers wanted to find out what penile aspects were important to women, and whether they thought men who had undergone the surgery to correct the Hypospadias had weird-looking penises .
The researchers asked 105 women to rate the importance of eight penile qualities on a 5-point scale, ranging from very unimportant (1) to extremely important (5). These qualities included length, girth, position and shape of urinary opening, known as the meatus . Researchers also asked about the shape of glans and penile skin, scrotum, pubic hair, and general "cosmetic" appearance.
No one is really sure what they meant by "cosmetic appearance", but I'm going to guess it was the overall look of the penis (as if the penises were in a kind of beauty pagent — but without the talent or bathing suit portions).
The findings weren't really surprising , and suggested that women find general cosmetic the most important aspect, maybe because it was the one aspect most open to interpretation. The position and shape of the meatus were considered the least important aspect of penile appearance.
Contrary to the cliche about size, length was only rated as the sixth most important aspect, girth was rated third, and pubic hair was rated second. However, the study was so small that it's difficult to generalize the findings.
Overall, when trying to figure out what makes a good-looking penis , researchers found that there was no single penile aspect that was essential.
I guess we're going to have to have a "Best Looking Penis" contest of our own.

A survey has revealed how likely a woman is to reach climax based on penis size - and it seems to suggest that bigger isn't always better
It's a question that's been batted about for as long as anyone can remember.
Some women will straight up tell you it does - while others claim they don't have a preference.
But it seems we might finally have an answer to the question, thanks to some new research.
Thousands of women participated in a new survey which aimed to find out the penis size of their last sexual partner - and how satisfied they'd been with the performance in bed (i.e. whether or not they were able to orgasm).
The study was carried out by Big One Dating and the results are very interesting.
The responses from those who took part varied, but the findings show that women (44 percent) were most satisfied if their partner had a penis measuring eight inches.
Following this, 39 percent of those surveyed reached climax through penetration with a 10-inch penis.
But it seems bigger might not always be better, as the same amount of women reported reaching climax with a man who had an 11-inch member and those who had one four-inches long.
One of the women who participated in the research said they felt that size wasn't everything.
"Penis size is important, but knowing how to work it and wanting to please her trumps over anything else."
Another commented: "Size does help but you definitely need to know how to use it. Plenty of wasted big d**k out there."
A third added that they thought girth was the most important aspect, saying: "I prefer penises that are thick and long. However, I do value girth over length."
According to the NHS, most men's penises are around 3.75 inches when not erect, with the average erect penis size being between five and seven inches.
However the study shows that eight could be the magic number when it comes to inches.
So what can you do if you're not feeling confident about your size?
Professor Kevan Wylie, a sexual medicine consultant shared his top tips with the NHS.
He recommends getting fit as general body confidence may help improve your outlook.
"Getting into shape will not only make you feel more attractive, it could also improve your sex life," he said. "A beer belly hanging over your penis can make your penis look smaller."
The expert also suggested trimming pubic hair.
"A big mound of pubic hair can make your penis look smaller than it is," he added.
