In fact, the OhMiBod app now has an Oh-Dometer, in which you can log and track each climax in real time. Granted, you have to remember to grab your phone and ping the winking smiley face every time. But if you do, the feature will tell you your weekly count and goal (20 is the very ambitious max), track your monthly orgasms in a bar graph, and pie chart your "Oh-Zone." Yep, that's the time of day you're most likely to see stars.
Now for what the vibrators themselves do, let's start with the new blueMotion NEX 2. It works like your standard manual set and play, except that you can also sync it to the OhMiBod app via Bluetooth. Because why not? There are five dashboard options for controlling the device, including tilting your phone to change intensity, recording your voice for a customized pattern, or selecting preset arrangements. If all that multitasking sounds like it requires a bit too much coordination, the Wi-Fi setting allows a partner to connect from anywhere and work the functions. When road tested, that feature kept timing out, so keep FaceTime on standby if you're looking for a cyber interaction.
The Freestyle :W model is OhMiBod's music vibrator 2.0. It's design is Rabbit-like, and it's four-pattern-three-speed function provides enough variety to satisfy most tastes—unless you're the type who prefers grooving to a beat. But wait, there's more! Plug the included transmitter into an iPod or iPhone (you can choose headphones or external speakers for the output), press the music function on the wireless Freestyle, select your sexiest sexy jams, and listen while the device buzzes and shakes in sync to each song. There are a lot of components to organize with this model, and you have to keep the volume fairly high to get a noticeable vibration, but it's worth charging up if multisensory experiences are your thing.

Its powerful motor makes it a fun toy by itself, but what really makes it special is what’s in that tail — the connection to the internet, along with Lovense’s app functionality, which lets other people control the toy — whether someone the user knows, or someone they don’t. 
There aren’t any additional gadgets in the box, and you pair the toy to your phone (or your partner’s) by downloading the app, signing up and being within range, rather than entering a specific code. 
For all the toy’s relative simplicity, the Lush 2 ’s app is relatively tricked out, and once the two are paired, you can explore all the functionalities at your disposal.
Close Range mode has the following options: Alarm (wake your partner up with a jolt!), Music (pair the vibrations to the beat of your favorite song), Remote (control the intensity of the vibrations on your phone), My Patterns (create personalized vibration patterns), and Sound (sound-activated vibrations).
Long Distance mode, meanwhile, allows you to add, request or block other users, as well as chat with them within the app. You can also create unique ‘control’ links that allow them to control the toy for different lengths of time (from just a second to a full hour), and Patterns mode offers you a sampling of vibration patterns other users have created. 
The Lovense Lush 2 is a really fun toy for all kinds of different couples, as well as people who are interested in letting other people have a measure of control over their sexual pleasure.

The lack of clitoral stimulation also means that the toy is really just a very high-tech internal vibrator. If you want a blended orgasm, you’ll have to bring something else to the table, whether oral, manual or a second toy. 
As well, if you’re in a hetero relationship where the woman plays the dominant role (or in a relationship where neither of you has a vagina), the toy isn’t much use. Its core remote control functionality seems to work best for couples where a woman is submissive, regardless of her partner’s gender.

It's a whole new way to have an orgasm.
If you ask any man in America to define what a vibrator is, he'll probably say something along the lines of, "Well, it's a brightly-hued hunk of oblong plastic." He'll also probably note that vibrators are meant for women.

"For men, any kind of [self-pleasure help] feels like a direct piercing of their masculinity," says Alexandra Katehakis, clinical director of the Center For Healthy Sex. "The attitude is, 'I can do this myself, and if I can't there's something wrong with me.'"
That attitude, however, might be changing. Sex tech companies are increasingly starting to market products like vibrators to dudes—and they're into it.
While most sex toys for men are aimed at replicating the sensation of a penis going in and out of an orifice, the truth is that lots of guys find the sensation of vibrations on their penis (particularly around the frenulum, or the sensitive strip of skin underneath the head of the penis) incredibly pleasurable. In fact, according to one 2012 study , 44% of heterosexual men admitted that they've enjoyed using a vibrator at one point or another.

The inventor of the Pulse, Adam Lewis, told the Daily Dot that he actually adapted the Pulse's design from a similar product used in the medical field, which used deep oscillations to to stimulate the frenulum of the penis and help victims of spinal cord injuries achieve orgasm. Lewis said he hoped the Pulse (which is now in its third incarnation) would kibosh the lingering stigma attached to male sex toys.
"There's a hundred different ways to achieve orgasm," he told the Daily Dot. "Why should us guys just have one?"
