Boards The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt if i kiss Triss will it affect the relation whit Yennefer?
Like the title said, ok so i kissed Triss but Yen is my waifu so i need to know if i f***ed up.
Did you kiss Triss on the masquerade party thing? if you did its fine.
both yes and no I assume you mean kissing her during the masquerade party. kissing triss ups your rrelationship with triss meaning it brings you closer to chosing triss in the end there fore lowiering your chances with yennefer. So theres the yes. But will it automatcically disqualify you from choosing yennefer no. But keep in mind the more you advance on triss the less chance yennifer will forgive geralt and continue there relationship.
Btw my phone puts everything in a wall of text even though I put paragraphs. Have no idea how to fix it. Sorry.

Kissing Triss at the party has literally no consequences regarding Yennefer so long as you let Triss leave with the mages. If you ask her to stay, then you have problems.
When darkness falls, will we be found worthy of the precious light the legend speaks of?

The problem that it means you've romanced Triss. So if you proceed with romancing Yen, you get dumped for two-timing. Unless they threw in a way to dump Triss after romancing her

Just stop worrying about that and do what your heart dictates.

I kissed Zoltan and it didn't affect my relationship with Eredin.
Yeah, in order for Triss to stay you need to tell her you love her. Otherwise she just leaves.

Can you KISS Triss and still be with Yennefer? Spoilers obviously
I know in the quest Now or Never when you go to the docks with Triss and Dijkstra you can tell her to stay and "I love you" and that'll trigger the romance scene in the lighthouse, but even before that when you're at the party with Triss and you have the option to kiss her at the fountain, does this still ruin your chance with Yennefer? So long as you only kiss her and then later on let her go at the docks?

The kiss doesn't destroy your chance to be with Yen. Afaik it's necessary though to do the kiss to actually romance Triss, at least that's what lots of guides say.
You can kiss her at the party and still romance Yen but you cannot say I love you to Triss because it triggers the romance with her. If you do have a romance with Triss and then try to do the same with Yen, you'll end up losing both of them.
Yeah, the no-no is telling them both you love them. Otherwise, you can even romance Triss and then sleep with Yen when you first get to Skellige, and there are no negative repercussions.
Yeah, maybe emotional infidelity matters more than sex to them. Started reading the books and Yen isn't particularly monogamous in them either.
On my first playthrough I romanced them both and got the "you can't have either of us ending." I'm curious, is it possible to romance Triss and reject Yen, then end up with Triss, happily ever after? Yen is gorgeous but she really annoys me, lol. The reason I romanced them both was because I did the Triss part first, then afterwards when I was doing the Yen portion of the story, it almost seemed like the game was directing me to be romantic with Yen.
Triss can compromise the first sex in Skellige between Yen and Geralt because they STILL under the Djinn's affection. But after they cut those ties on personal sidequest from Yen, both Yennefer and Triss are expecting Geralt's independent & clear minds after free from the Djinn's affection. (link story to the book "Last Wish") This is the same Yennefer can compromise Geralt's bedding Triss on the Witcher 1 & 2 because of Geralt's losing his memory and thoughts of her beloving sorceress was Triss. Eventually, after The Witcher 2, they are separate after Triss promise to heal Geralt minds. Off game (between TW2 ~ TW3), Triss manage to heal Geralt's memory. But, it comes with bad outcome as Geralt realize that the sorceress in his heart was Yennefer, instead of Triss. Thus, Geralt's crying back to Kaer Morhen and ask papa Vesemir to find Yennefer whereabout.
Meh i dont think any of them cares about sex alone , for example in the first two games you could sleep with the entire world around you , triss wouldnt say a word about it , BUT in 1 she got pissed at shani and only shani , the one you could "love". In this one i dont think anyone ever mention you sleeping with the other women either , all that matters to triss or yen is if you are loving the other one.

And just to confirm that Kiera has no effect between Yennefer and Triss romances?

You can make it with Kiera, Triss, and still with Yen. All the while visiting brothles to keep your game legit. It's Geralt guys. C'mon.

So it's like real life... it's not really cheating if you don't love them =P

If players do not wish to choose, and instead try to romance both Triss & Yennefer in The Witcher 3, they may have to face some consequences.
In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt , Geralt of Rivia’s love life is complicated, as there are many characters players can start a romantic fling with, but only two - Triss Merigold and Yennefer of Vengerberg - with which Geralt can have a lasting romance. Options will be consistently presented throughout the game to pursue one or the other, but the game does have plans for those that choose to try and woo both. While Geralt’s other trysts have little to no lasting consequences, Triss and Yennefer are a bit of a different story.
The two both hold stakes in Geralt’s life, and there are equal amounts of pros and cons to choosing either sorceress . Triss is overall less abrasive than Yennefer, and provides a simple yet stable life for Geralt if the two end up together. Yennefer, on the other hand, offers a chance to see Geralt’s true love and their delightfully complicated story. That said, as the two sorceresses are friends, if players attempt to romance both at the same time, words will eventually reach the other’s ear.
If players have tried to commit to both after assisting Triss and Yennefer in The Witcher 3 's base game , before the search for the Sunstone begins, the two will attempt to entrance Geralt together with claims that he could potentially have both of them. They ask him to go purchase an expensive bottle of wine and meet them at the Kingfisher Inn, thus beginning the quest It Takes Three to Tango. After spending copious amounts of crowns trying to find the right vintage of wine, players can then head up to the second floor of the Kingfisher Inn to meet Triss and Yennefer.
The two of them will greet Geralt dressed in lingerie, being suspiciously pleasant and coy with him. What ensues is CD Projekt Red’s way of gently chastising Witcher 3 players for trying to romance both of the sorceresses. The two push Geralt down onto the bed and chain him there, leaving (and taking the wine) with some biting remarks on his behavior. Geralt stays there until the next morning when Dandelion arrives to rescue him, giving the witcher a lecture about how to properly treat a lady.
Completing this quest effectively ends any chance players previously had at romancing either Triss or Yennefer. If Geralt tries to bring up the subject of love again, the two will simply brush him off, and say that their futures do not concern Geralt of Rivia in any way. This will also lead to either Ciri or Dandelion winding up at Geralt's property at the end of the Blood and Wine DLC , rather than one of the sorceresses. All of this being said, romance is not a mandatory part of The Witcher 3 , and players are welcome to skip it altogether. The only risk is losing a little extra lore and character interaction.
