Promotion to Community Manager

I was promoted to community manager since I was helping out with social medias at the time. I still see it to this day as an apt decision, though one i didn't ask for, but i am certainly grateful of. In addition, I do not have any skills to develop, though i did make some additions like the cafe with the help of friends.
The wording in this document is extremely misleading.

While yes, some people are still not approving of my current role, according to a poll put out by Jaiden, majority of the staff still approve of me in my current role.

Passwords

It was noted in the document titled "Problems within Dovedale" that the social media passwords were of the following:

This password was set back when we were friends, and Raye did not mind at the time. While time has passed and passwords should have been changed as noted by jade, I am not the one responsible for the passwords.
The passwords have since changed a little since Raye left for security*.

Staff members doing... work?

While I wont disagree that there were issues in the staff team, as mentioned in the paragraphs in the document, I fail to see the reason why this pie chart was published.

"staff doing the dirty work". no, this is just staff in the recruitment team - a small team of trusted people who had applied to HR to read applications - reviewing applications. Me (a HR at the time) is also present there. What is this even trying to achieve?

RAYE

I do not think it is appropriate to involve RAYE in this document. In the last resignation wave, RAYE was already demoted and then resigned, due to his behaviour. He has moved on, and the author of this document should have understood that.
The HR team has already handled this by removing him from the game, which I think was the right thing to do.

Me and Jade arguing

This image is not related to any text mentioned in the document, it was a conversation/argument between me and Jade about a clause in the staff guide where staff who have finished reading it should send a photo of an animal to me to confirm they have read it. (The previous conversation was talking about Blu's resignation)

A reminder we are on a Roblox game, mean to have fun, not rot away at work. You can also see how 2 other staff members don't see it the way Jade has in this conversation. Getting mad over sending photos of polar bears and marmots is not what i expected.

While I have played around and trolled a bit before, I have definitely toned it down, and only interact with my friends when I do these kind of things.

Nowadays, I usually spawn things and drive around and play. Since when was fun illegal? As mentioned I do not shoot people unless they are trolling, or they are my friend and they are fine with it.

In addition, I don't usually respond to admin calls in game unless I am the only one in game, so that moderators can reply to them. Moderators have an activity system (which you will hear more of later), so answering more mod calls will benefit them.

Flowery

I do not control who gets ranked and demoted, though I did pass on the message from the HR team to flowery know she was removed.

To be clear, I was pretty against her existence in the game. Below are some messages i texted jaiden after an investigation that I had conducted, on flowery abusing the game.

Goobersville

I was one of the main builders of Goobersville, and I really loved the project. However, the rest of the current HR like RAYE and Ella were not.
Ella and RAYE aren't exactly angels too, they were pretty mean to gab when she was building this project.

Media Team

The Media Team was generally in disorder, and only produced a few videos. This should have come under the wing of Alex (HOS).

I did try to clean up a few things, like communicate with the team on what they were doing.

As to why there was no Media Team head selected after Owen left, me and Owen were not confident that anyone could lead the team.

Translation and my errata message

I had posted this without reading the entire context of the message, and I apologise for that. I shouldn't have responded while not knowing the entire conversation.

"PR" esque message

For the applications, we have had no further applications since this message was posted. Last I checked, we will raise it to 16 in the future. What are we trying to achieve by adding this here?

As for 'Freeranking', it should be rephrased to selectively hiring skilled people for our own game. There is no rule against it. Companies scout for people in real life too. Despite that, HRs had decided to only hire people from applications from now on, listening to staff feedback.

Flowery: See above on what happened to her. IMO, her ranking was not fair, and was not agreed upon with all the HR.
Maz: She was skilled, trusted. HR agreed to hire her.

Staff Guide Photo

This is the :rope command in Adonis/a Roblox RopeConstraint executed via :dex. It is not a leash or any sign of a sexual kink. Whoever saw this as a leash and not a RopeConstraint might be the weird one.

Why can we not joke and have fun as staff and friends?

Activity

A Thumbs up from me does not mean you are clear, it just means I have read it, and helps me log things.

We still take out inactive administrators and moderators if required. Below are some messages of me checking in with staff, and removing people who are inactive.

Whoever is screenshotting these messages also fails to consider Leave Of Absences, and the privacy of others. Some people had gone on leave, which I accounted for, thus their low activity.

Ella

While this was not included in the document, I thought it would be apt to include a section of ella's behaviour after the incident, which was very childish for a 19 year old.

After her departure, she had decided to sabotage the game, by ruining the wiki. She had abused her previous role as bureaucrat on the wiki to regain permissions and vandalise the wiki.

She lied to Fandom staff about the situation, and subsequently vandalised some wiki pages.

After this incident, she decided not to be friendly anymore, and harassed me with constant texts about a ticket she had maliciously gained access to. It was about a user who was asking why ella had told them they were 'accepted', but never got to be a moderator in the end.

I had decided to block her not long after since I thought we were over.

In addition, her language was uncalled for, whoever was in the wrong.

She then goes onto break multiple rules (Breaking Discord TOS, Ban Evading).

Prior to all this drama, we were all friends binded through a silly group chat. I really didn't know that I was hurting her, and I apologise for that. I had no indication of that.

She then continues to keep on texting me. And sending me skibidi toilet?

A few days later, she logs onto her alt and goes on another rant on her Alt.

I do not see reason to talk to you anymore.
You were blocked because I thought this was over, and you were annoying.

For transparency, here is the rest of her rant.

Whenever she made a suggestion I disagreed with, I disagreed with it respectfully. What is wrong with rejecting it anyway, if there is constructive criticisms?

While I cannot discredit the rest of the things she has said, my name was not mentioned in vain in all the ex-staffs resignation notes.

While I am not totally in the right, neither is she.

Summary

The response from the community after this document really shocked me. While I am not 100% in the right, who is? Nobody is perfect, and we make mistakes here and there.

While you are entitled to call for my resignation, it has made me, and the rest of the staff members remaining disappointed and stressed that people had responded in such a rude way.

I hope I find a way to push my side of the story into the light. While I am not perfect, I am strongly against any misinformation, out of context content or any jokes that were taken too seriously in this doc.

I really loved Dovedale and put my heart and soul into it, by maintaining the wiki, keeping up the community, and helping out. I am really sad it has come to this.
