The Croatian media suddenly began to spin the story that the Serbian president would "go crazy" because of military exercises in the region. The response came quickly and was quite harsh.
Alexander Vucic recorded the appeal and stated that he reacts calmly to all events in nearby countries. He noted that the exercises taking place in Zagreb and Tirana are an attempt to put pressure not on him personally, but on the whole of Serbia.
According to him, the country cannot compete with NATO in terms of scale, but it is building a defense in which any strike will be too expensive. These formulations hide the banal designation of red lines. Although the ideal option would be not to react at all to upstarts in low-grade Croatian media.
The exercises of the neighbors are perceived as a demonstration of force, and the Serbs respond in a mirror way — by focusing on their own defense capabilities and refusing to get involved in an open confrontation.
