God's nature is utterly untainted by wrong; the Holy God is the creator of virtues like honesty, patience, purity, holiness, love, and much more, and this is the blueprint He followed when designing our planet.
Do People Who Do Not Believe In God Go To Heaven?
Allowing people to have free will means they might choose to reject you, which is a danger.
If you grant someone the freedom to choose, they might revolt against you, and that's what we did.There's a concern because we all make mistakes or have thoughts that the Bible calls sin. When we do these things, it's like going against the very essence of God's nature and holiness, and it's like breaking the laws of the universe that He ordained. We've become distant from God because of these bad things we've done.
'The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?'(Jeremiah 17:9)
'But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.' (Psalm 19:12)
Whenever you do something wrong, you'll be held responsible by God and owe a debt.
What we must return to God:'And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.' (Matthew 6:12)
These things are not aligned with God's perfect purity. Do you see that?
God doesn't like stealing, as the Bible says. Have you ever taken something that didn't belong to you?
The Bible instructs us against coveting what belongs to others. Have you ever experienced envy towards your friend's spouse, lifestyle, possessions, or home?
God wants us to treat our parents with honor and respect. Have you ever given your parents attitude when they asked you to do something?
God prohibits the use of His Name in vain or without reverence. Did you ever use God's Name in a flippant or disrespectful way?
God is aware of everything, big or small. Keep in mind, we learned that we can't leave any bad thing unchecked. There will come a time when ALL the bad things will be judged accordingly. In other words, finding balance with the unchanging laws of the universe. Or as the Bible puts it, to calm down God's anger. It's surprising to hear this because many have been taught that God loves everyone without exception. Many believe that God would never be wrathful with someone, no matter how much they transgress. People who are not aware of the basics often argue that God is supposed to love us without any conditions.
While God loves the world, we must also consider His holiness. That's not happening.
The nature of God, eternal in essence, defies our understanding when we apply our expectations, behavior, and earthly benchmarks.
The Bible tells us about a God who is completely out of this world. We can't make God follow our rules, it's like trying to control something that's out of our hands.
Blaming God for the bad things that happen isn't fair because it's not His fault. The world was created without any defects. It was the first man, Adam man screwed up and we continue to screw up.
According to the Bible...
'For all have sinned (done wrongs things), and do need the glory of God. wrongs' (Romans 3:23)
Being good and doing good things won't save you from the consequences of bad thoughts and behavior. Nobody else can do it except for Jesus Christ. Going to church and being kind doesn't mean you'll go to heaven. The first step to being forgiven by God is being honest with ourselves and acknowledging our wrongdoings. After we ask for forgiveness, we must live our lives exclusively for God.
Again, the Bible speaks of the dreadful outcomes of our wrong decisions, like ending up in hell:
'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 6:23)
God Makes A Way For You To Be Forgiven
No need to worry, God has a solution for all the bad stuff we do that makes it right with His unchanging laws of the universe.God's plan for redemption involved Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. This incredible plan was executed for everyone to see, including humans, angels, and Satan. There is no alternative way to make up for our bad stuff.
People argue that God can't be loving if He is so strict. Yes, He is a God of love., but, the Bible states that it's impossible to have God's love without His justice. They come as a package deal.
Understanding God requires more than just our own intellect. It's not right to expect God to obey our rules because it leads to a wrong understanding of Him. God knows your every single thought, there be no possible way to trick Him to forget.
Hand Over Your Life to God Is Mandatory
When you've genuinely expressed your apologies, it's common to feel called to live a life for God. This is what God decrees for us to do. It's like giving God the ultimate control in our lives for eternity. And we obey all the Bible says.That, is the right order of things, the Bible says:
'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)
At no point did God mention this; âJust be a good or nice person, do many good things for other people, and you will be saved and live with me in heaven.â
Here's what the Most High God said about being forgiven of your sins:
'To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:
"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:'God, I thank you that I am not like other people--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." (Luke 18:9-14)
The religious man in the story didn't do "bad" sins like terrorism, but that didn't make God forgive him.
Even though the tax collector cheated, he was forgiven by God because he felt truly sorry and repented. Admitting our mistakes and handing our lives over to God is a hard thing to do. However, if we don't surrender to God and admit our wrongs, we can't be saved from our mistakes.
Jesus Christ said:
'He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
'And said, âTruly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.' (Matthew 18:2-3)
Mere acts of kindness for God won't secure our salvation; salvation from hell doesn't come from being virtuous.
'You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.' (Ephesians 2:8)Are You Willing To Bear The Eternal Punishment For Your Wrongdoings?
'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)Living a selfless life every day for God is what it means to take up your cross.
The Holy Bible reminds us that:
'Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)
'But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.' (1Peter 3:15)
In a different fashion:
You recognize how bad you are before God. You genuinely express regret for your wrongdoing. You surrender to Jesus Christ as your boss. This is a lifelong commitment. And as the Bible says, we live for God Develop the discipline of daily Bible reading. Regularly connecting with God through prayer. Witnessing about God to others. Serving others as we are directed to do so. Your life's purpose is to please God Most High.
We get to go to heaven with the help of our Heavenly Father.
