Do You Go To Hell If You Do Not Believe In God?
God's nature remains impeccably pure, devoid of even the smallest trace of wrongdoing; the Holy Creator is responsible for virtues like honesty, patience, purity, holiness, love, and much more, all of which are evident in the design of our world.
Can You Not Believe In God And Go To Heaven?
God's expectations for us are based on His own nature, not to be unnecessarily difficult. He is permanently confined to his current role or identity. God won't do anything that goes against His character.
It's like the unshakable laws that keep the universe in order.
The God in the Bible is the creator of everything, from the biggest to the smallest. Seek the truth in the Bible about this:
"I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. (Isaiah 42:8)
For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. (Deuteronomy 4:24)
The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. (Psalm 113:4)
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. (1 Chronicles 29:11)
All the angels were standing around the throne...They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, (Revelation 7:11)
Many people today have only heard about God, they haven't had a personal experience with Him.
Everything is God's property, including us, and He only wants what's His. We should show our love for Him by serving Him.
It's not always easy to understand, but God is the one who controls the world like it's His plaything. If we created something, we would be able to make the rules for it. God, on the other hand, says:
'Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.' (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)
Removing danger would mean we have to give up free will and be like robots, which God didn't want. But, that is certainly not what God wanted. God wanted beings that would willingly choose to love Him.
A being that shared certain characteristics with God.
If you give someone the freedom to decide, they might choose to walk away from you, which is a danger.
If you allow someone to make their own decisions, they might go against your authority, which is what we did. It's a problem because we all have flaws or do things that the Bible considers to be wrong. These things utterly violate God's nature and holiness, and again, you could say a violation of the Unchangeable Laws of the universe, the ordered universe He created. We've become distant from God because of these bad things we've done.
'The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?'(Jeremiah 17:9)
'But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.' (Psalm 19:12)
Be aware that every bad thing you do incurs a debt that must be paid to God.
What we must repay to God:'And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.' (Matthew 6:12)
Do you see how these things don't fit with God's perfect purity?
Have you ever taken something that wasn't yours to take? According to the Bible, God is against stealing.
The Bible's guidance emphasizes refraining from desiring what others possess. Have you ever been consumed by envy over your friend's spouse, life, possessions, or residence?
God expects us to honor our parents. Have you ever talked back to your parents when they were disciplining you?
It's against God's rules to use His Name lightly or disrespectfully. Have you ever used God's Name in a careless or disrespectful way?
God knows everything, nothing is hidden from Him. Keep in mind, we learned that we can't leave any bad thing unchecked. There will come a time when every bad thing will be judged. Or, you could say, being in harmony with the unchangeable laws of the universe. In the Bible, it's called soothing God's anger. This might be a shock to some people, since they believe that God loves everyone so much. Many people think that God would never be upset with anyone, no matter how terrible their behavior. People who don't know the basics often argue that God is supposed to love us no matter what.
Yes, God loves the world, but we must also recognize His holiness. There's no way that can be done.
The eternal character of God remains elusive when we attempt to gauge it using our expectations, behavior, and worldly standards.
He's beyond our wildest imaginations, but the Bible tells us about Him. It's pointless to make God follow our rules because that won't lead to anything real or lasting.
God shouldn't be held responsible for the problems in the world, even though some people think otherwise. The world was created without imperfections. Adam made a mistake and now we're all flawed.
In the Holy Book, it is written...
'For all have sinned (done wrongs things), and do need the glory of God. wrongs' (Romans 3:23)
Doing good things and being a good person won't prevent you from facing the punishment for bad thoughts and actions. Jesus Christ is the only one who can rescue you. Only being a good person and going to church won't be enough to avoid hell. We must genuinely apologize to God and seek forgiveness for the things we've done wrong. We need to commit ourselves entirely to God after asking for forgiveness.
Again, the Bible explains that the outcome of our bad actions is eternal punishment in hell:
'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 6:23)
God's Payment for Your Wrongdoing
No need to worry, God has a solution for all the bad stuff we do that makes it right with His unchanging laws of the universe.God's plan for salvation involved Jesus Christ dying, being buried, and rising from the dead. This incredible plan was carried out in front of everyone, including humans, angels, and Satan. There is no other way to pay for our evil behaviour.
You may wonder, "Why is God so tough? I thought He was loving." Love is at the core of who God is., but, the Bible states that it's impossible to have God's love without His justice. They're both vital.
We can't rely on our own thoughts to grasp God's ways. Thinking God will follow our rules is dangerous and inaccurate. God knows everything you think, so you can't hide from Him or trick Him.
Apologizing and Surrendering to God Go Hand in Hand
When you're truly sorry for what you've done wrong, it's common to feel a desire to live a life for God. This is exactly what God tells us to do. We can choose to have God as the ultimate leader in our lives for good. We endeavor to follow all the precepts of the Bible. The Bible says that's the right way things should be:
'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)
God didn't say that, not at any time; 'To get to heaven and be with me, be a good person and do good for others.'
This is what the Most High God said about getting forgiveness for your sins:
'To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:
"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:'God, I thank you that I am not like other people--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." (Luke 18:9-14)
Just because the religious man didn't do "bad" sins like murder, God still didn't forgive him in the story.
Although the tax collector cheated, he was forgiven by God because he repented. Confessing our wrongdoings and giving ourselves to God is an uncomfortable experience. Although, we need to admit our mistakes and give up control to God to be saved.
As stated by Jesus Christ:
'He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
'And said, âTruly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.' (Matthew 18:2-3)
Merely doing good things for God won't guarantee our salvation; being saved from hell doesn't depend on our moral goodness.
'You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.' (Ephesians 2:8)Do You Choose To Let Jesus Pay For Your Wrongs When You Repent, Or Not?
'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)Taking up your cross daily means giving up what you want and following God's will.
The Holy Bible also declares that:
'Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)
'But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.' (1Peter 3:15)
In simpler language:
You recognize your faults and transgressions before God. You genuinely say sorry for your mistake. You put Jesus Christ in charge of your life. It's a lifelong promise. Our lives are guided by the Bible's instructions to live for God. Consistently read the Bible to grow in your faith. Regularly connecting with God through prayer. Letting others know about God. Offering assistance to those in need. You devote yourself to the mission of God Most High for the rest of your days.
Our Father in Heaven will bring us to heaven.
