Some people with red hair loath this question. They know that probably half of the people they meet, think about whether they have red pubes.
Now I know this isn’t fair and they can’t to much about it, but most of us (including me) are just curious! It isn’t out of anything else but curiosity that people want to know if people with red hair have red pubes.
One night we were watching tv at her place and we were watching a quiz. The quiz show had a question about at which age pubic hair set in… We started discussing it and that was when the question popped in my head! I bluntly asked her and this is the reaction she gave me.
The color of the pubic hair almost always is the same as the hair you have on your head (or your eyebrows which seems a good indicator). But as you just read, this is not always entirely the case. It all depends on genetics so it can be that the hair on the head does not match the color of the pubes.
Now only 2% of the entire population on earth have red hair. So that automatically means that having red pubic hair is not that common!
So if you are someone with red hair and red pubic hair, or if you have a relationship with a man or woman who has this… Cherish them! They represent only a small amount of people on earth!
No pubes and your hair color do not always match. Upon further studying up about the subject I found that it doesn’t depend on the color of the hair on your head. Often it does match, but this doesn’t mean that it always matches.
The color of your hair is determined by the amount of melanin in each of your hairs. This can be different in different parts of your body so that is why it not always matches. The pigment substance (melanin) can just differ between your head and your pubes.
As I said earlier: the color of your pubic hair is often close to your eyebrows (if those are your natural color of course).
What if you want to go and find someone with red hair and red pubic hair just because you find it so fantastic! Where do you need to go?
The frequency of people with red hair is the highest in Ireland. 10 to 30% of its people have red hair. Scotlands comes in at a good second place with 10 to 25% of people with red hair. And of course, you might’ve guessed it… The third place is for Wales with 10 to 15% of the people with red hair!
So, did you always fancy vacation to the United Kingdom? You now have a great excuse!
The first thing that popped into my head after I asked the question to my friend was “why did I ask her that question!” After she wasn’t going crazy on me and just explained it, I felt relieved and was happy I finally knew! I hope you just had such a moment! Now you know and you can go on with your life :). Just for the last time so that you never forget it: People with red hair often have red pubic hair, but this doesn’t need to be the case.

Yes. But they may be darker/lighter
Yes. If it's the natural hair color (or the person is too lazy to shave down there but doesn't want it to be their OG haircolor) the pubic hair will be the same color as their regular hair, albeit possibly a shade or two darker, and usually thicker.
Usually, yes. Another giveaway for died hair is sometimes the eyebrows as well.
