Dll Failed To Load The Data Is The Error: A Guide to Repairing Corrupted or Missing DLL Files
protfiedeovegI have an IIS Web Farm composed of two servers (Server A and B) in Shared Configuration. When I update a site in server "A" and initially load the site, Server "B"'s App Pool turns off, I get an "
HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable error" on the site and on server "B", I see the following error in the Event Viewer:Dll Failed To Load The Data Is The Error

Improperly shutting down your PC or getting a virus infection could corrupt the iisreqs.dll, which could lead to DLL errors. When your iisreqs.dll file becomes corrupt, it cannot be loaded properly and will present an error message.
2214 The HTTP Filter DLL %1 failed to load. The data is
the error. I am trying to load up a 3rd party ISAPI filter (ATG
Dynamo ConnectionModule for IIS) and am not even getting
past stage 1...HELP!!!
Thanks,

Thanks for getting back so quickly.. To answer your
question, the ISAPI is NOT being loaded at all (hence the
error mesasage). If I use the GUI interface I can see the
red down arrow (the paths are completely correct both in
the registry and the GUI). What I am assuming is IIS and/or Windows does not like the
dll (used for ATG Dynamo 5.6.1 - very popular).Does this ring any bells? Thanks so much,
Matt
There are three cases were IIS will fail to load a filter:1. The filter is not registered in the metabase. In this case, you won't
see the filter in the MMC, and you won't see an event, so that is clearly
not what's happening here.2. IIS's call to load the dll fails. This can happen for a number of
reasons. If IIS can't find the dll, can't access the dll, or if the OS
can't load it for some reason, a failure will occur here. Also, it's
possible that the filter is found and actually loaded, but the filter's
entry point function (often called DllMain) returns FALSE.3. The dll is found and loaded correctly, but its GetFilterVersion function
returns FALSE. In this case, IIS immediately unloads the filter. In cases 2 and 3 above the hex data in the event log ("the data is the
error") will be relevant. In the case where the OS cannot load the filter,
this value will correspond to a Win32 error code explaining the failure. In
the case where the filter's entry point or GetFilterVersion function returns
FALSE, the value will correspond with whatever last error the filter set.If you can post the actual data from the error code, we may be able to tell
you what it means.Thank you,

The Module DLL C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Bin\kerbauth.dll failed to load. The data is the error.
I just upgraded to Windows 10 from 7. Cool so far, but when I try to go to any of my applications the app pool crashes and I get a 503. I can restart the app pool but it continues to crash. So I checked the event log to see what was happening. I then got the error "The Module DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\rewrite.dll failed to load". The problem most people had was that the dll was not there. However that is not my problem. Because it is there. After some googling I have not been able to find a solution. Can anyone please help me out? Accoding to my registry I am running IIS 10.0?

The Module DLL
C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\compdyn.dll failed to load. The data is the error.Sometimes, when you want to open a program on your Windows computer, you only receive an unable to load DLL/failed to load DLL error. If you want to use the program successfully, you need to take some measures. This post from MiniTool Software will show you some available solutions.
The
unable to load DLL/failed to load DLL error always occurs when you launch a program on your Windows computer. When you open a program, the program will call out a certain DLL file to perform the task. However, if the specified DLL file is failed to be loaded, the error in loading DLL issue will occur. When encountering this issue, you will ask: how do I fix unable to load DLL? In the following guides, we will show you how to get rid of this unable to load DLL/failed to load DLL error using different methods.
The residual registry keys can also cause the unable to load DLL/failed to load DLL error. To rule out this cause, you can use a professional registry cleaner to clean the residual registry on your computer.
If the referenced DLL file is a legitimate DLL, you will be unable to launch the program because you are unable to load DLL/failed to load DLL. In this case, you can re-register the DLL file and then check whether the issue goes away.
You can first download and install the trial edition of this software on your computer. Then, you can use it to scan the drive you want to recover data from and check whether you can find the files you want to recover from the scan results.
Now, you should know how to fix unable to load DLL or failed to load DLL and how to get back your lost data using MiniTool Power Data Recovery. Should you have any related issues, you can let us know in the comments.
