We've got another Divoom Bluetooth speaker for you to check out here, this time a little bigger and more powerful. The Voombox-Outdoor Bluetooth speaker brings the quality sound and volume you'd expect from other Divoom speakers, but even better as this is their best available Bluetooth speaker.BUILDBuilt with a rubber and plastic exterior as well as metal speaker grills, the Voombox-Outdoor is weather resistant and can withstand rain, mud and whatever else you throw at it. I gave this speaker the same treatment as its little brother, Voombox-Ongo, with pouring a pitcher of water on it while playing music. With no surprise, this speaker completely ignored the shower it was given. As well as being sturdy and strong, the Outdoor speaker is simple and easy to use, with only four buttons on top (power, pause/play, volume-down/previous, volume-up/next). Simply turn on the speaker with the press of a button, and if your smartphone has Bluetooth on, it will automatically detect the speaker and connect. You also have four options of colors: Smart Black, Indigo Blue, Vermillion Red, and Army Green.SOUNDI was impressed with the sound on the smaller Voombox-Ongo as it delivered quality sound and vocals with a relatively high volume for the size. I'm even more impressed with the boosted quality of the Voombox-Outdoor, as bass is even deeper, and mids sound incredible. The speaker delivers 15W of sound, and has 5 sound drivers built into it for clean highs, a good midranged punch and deep bass. The only notable flaw when playing music on highest volume was the suffering of the highs, as they were dialed down a little bit when there was bass. But this is to be expected with any Bluetooth speaker of this size.BATTERYDivoom claims the battery on the Voombox-Outdoor lasts around 12 hours on a charge. I'm happy to report that I literally has this speaker playing music all day long from 10:30 a.m. till 10 p.m. with a mixture of Kid Cudi Pandora radio and my Awolnation radio. I was very impressed with the 11 1/2 hours of playback.CONCLUSIONThe Voombox-Outdoor places itself in the high-quality range of Bluetooth speakers. With the combination of a weather resistant build, high quality audio and a punchy bass, Divoom is a serious contender for your business. I like a Bluetooth speaker that's easy to use and connect with anything, and found no confusion using the Voombox speakers. The Outdoor speaker typically retails on Amazon for $99.99 on Amazon, but you can grab one for $79.99 before January 5th here.

I have had this speaker for over a month and it has worked flawlessly. Right out of the package this speaker feels solid and has some heft to it (almost 2lbs). The rubberized 'jacket' surrounding the speaker does double duty. First it serves as protection for the unit to keep it from being dinged or dented, but it also minimizes vibrations when the speaker is placed on a hard surface. It is marketed as being water resistant and certainly looks as if it could survive an accidental splash (but I wouldn't recommend complete submersion). It's advertised to have a 12 hour playing time, I have personally played my unit for 8 to 10 hours while working at home one day, without any drop in volume or sound quality. Speaking of sound, the Voombox puts out some serious volume of sound as listened to my stored music from my Samsung Galaxy 5 and my Asus Tablet. It paired seamlessly to both devices and I like that I am able to take calls (since this also has a mic to work as a speakerphone). Voice transmission was good (clearer than the Bluetooth connection in the car according to people who heard me through both options). I have packed it along with me while on a business related hotel stay and connected my Tablet PC to it, allowing me to listen to my favorite music selection to go to sleep and wake up to my own sound of choice in the morning. It's just the end of the Winter season, here in the northeast, but I have no doubt that this portable ultra rugged speaker will work just fine on the rear patio this coming Summer. For now it fills the room in my home office/guest room which is 12'x15' with incredible sound. I placed the speaker in the cubby of my bookshelf wall unit, and the sound was crisp and clear enough that guest thought that the music was coming from the home audio system. I would whole heartedly recommend this speaker over some of the big name models including Bose Bluetooth models. Thank you to DIVOOM for a well made, solid and exceptional sound package. And thanks to Amazon for a great price point and quick delivery.

The Best Multifuntional Bluetooth Speaker I've Used to Date

This speaker is a great speaker. Right when I received it I could tell from the feel that it is a very durable and good sounding speaker. After having it for almost a year now, the sound is still great. You get very good lows for a small speaker like this and when you want it loud, it will get very loud. It will very easily fill a huge room with sound. The customer service is amazing, I had a slight problem with the speaker and they got back to me that day and sent me a new speaker within the week, which is amazing. I have never seen better customer service. I would recommend this speaker to anyone out there, it is definitely worth the money and has a great mixture of sound compared to others I have purchased. I would buy it again.

Highly recommended I love it for my Spro Projector. It is easy to setup and it auto connect with the Bluetooth. Whenever I need loud music or a movie I just pull it out and enjoy the clear and fantastic bass. You would not believe the loud sound coming from such a small device you would think I had a home theater. It will work for any device with Bluetooth and audio 3 mm headphones. Be sure to cut the volume up on your phone or any audio device it is connected to allow the best quality sound. I didn't check the waterproof part of it would not want to damage such an awesome product. Electronics and water nah not a good combination unless you have apple or android with those capabilities.

I have a Generation 1 Voombox speaker. From the day I got it was amazed by the richness of sound that comes out of that speaker. It has spectacularly good tweeters and booming woofers. The Generation 2 Voombox speaker is about 30% smaller then Generation 1 and the sound quality is simply not as good. I may keep it simply because I needed a wireless speaker for my office, where music is always played softly and great sound quality is not needed. Great sound quality is not what you get from Generation 2. Follow up: After trying the speaker in my office, I came to the conclusion that the inferior quality is even noticeable at low volume and have decided to return it.

Awesome Speaker. Fills a 50 square foot room with people. works great outside. The Battery life is unbeatable (well it might be), but 12 hours charge full power. For my use, I charge it maybe once every 3 weeks. iPhone Users and Android users - Cool perk: Product communicates with your device and gives you a battery light icon with the Bluetooth logo. Speakerphone use - don't bother, the mic doesn't pick up well, just find your phone real quick. Android users: This has Near Field Communication. - awesome connectivity perk. iPhones: Apple is a butt and won't unlock that feature for you. Remembers only 2 devices at a time, connects to most recent automatically.

Okay, I will admit my stoopy. I have had this speaker for about a year and have loved the full range of lows, mids and highs. But it has left me wanting with volume via cell phone. I finally looked online and rediscovered the +/- as volume controls. Every time I tried them I simply skipped tracks (the alt function). Finally I watched a review of a speaker I was researching and noted the users quick tap to engage the volume function. Well, the Divoom is a badass. Loud volume but maintains a full range. I am so pleased and do not mind the oh so late discovery.

Works decent enough. Can't turn the volume up all the way. Sound raises and lowers in volume. Sometimes it would lose the Bluetooth if my phone was in my pocket. But if you Bluetooth device is close by and you don't need it really loud, then it works great.

The only reason this is getting four stars is because the charging situation is not as advertised. The speaker will hold a charge while playing for three to four hours as far as I can tell. Still pretty good but not 12 hours. Other than that this thing is awesome.
