In-Transit Updater (Logex Transportation LLC)

Location: Tashkent or Samarkand

Employment Type: Full-Time (24/7 rotating shifts, 8 hours each)

Logex Transportation LLC is a growing logistics company providing reliable and efficient delivery services to clients. We are looking for a dedicated In-Transit Updater to join our team in Tashkent or Samarkand. In this role, you will track shipments and provide real-time updates to brokers and customers, ensuring they are informed of their freight’s status at all times. This is a 24/7 operation, so the ideal candidate must be flexible and available to work day, evening, or night shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

 • Track Shipments: Monitor the real-time location and status of trucks throughout their route using tracking platforms.

 • Driver Communication: Communicate with drivers regularly (via phone or messaging) to obtain up-to-the-minute updates on shipment progress.

 • Real-Time Updates: Provide brokers and customers with timely updates on shipment status and accurate estimated time of arrival (ETA) information.

 • Update Portals: Enter and update tracking information in broker/customer online systems or portals, ensuring all stakeholders have the latest information.

 • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of each shipment’s status updates in internal tracking tools and Google Sheets.

 • Issue Escalation: Immediately alert the operations team and relevant stakeholders to any delays, incidents, or issues encountered in transit, and assist in resolving minor issues when possible.

Qualifications

 • Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related role (e.g., dispatch, track-and-trace, freight forwarding).

 • Language Skills: Proficient in English (both written and spoken) – able to communicate clearly with drivers and international customers.

 • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when tracking shipments and entering data.

 • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with shipment tracking platforms and software. Experience with Google Sheets (or similar spreadsheet tools) for record-keeping and reporting.

 • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift rotation, including day, evening, and overnight shifts. Reliability and punctuality for shift work are a must.

 • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with drivers, brokers, and team members.

 • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining accuracy and composure.
