Bought this for a friend and it arrived at her house with a screw loose, but still in the box. I reinstalled the screw on the holder plate using Locktite, since that part of the assembly is prone to stress. In fact, I added Locktite to both sides for security. Once that was done, the unit was ready for action. The mounting plate is very adjustable, and though the metal used seemed flimsy, it has held up just fine. The sliders are quiet, but can make noise if the seat is slammed back to the starting position. To remedy this I put a couple of cabinet door bumpers on the offending cross brace. Now it truly is silent. Her only complaint is the padding on the seat, which is just a thin pad of very hard rubber. This makes cleaning easy, it's not very forgiving at all if you have a bony posterior. The insertables that came with the unit worked fine, but were a bit short for my lady friend, so she asked me to adapt a couple of her favorites. All I did was carefully use a 3/4" drill bit to put a hole in the base of a few of her toys (even ones with suction cups). Just a bit of lube on the mounting post makes swapping out simple, with the post still holding things in place very well. Also, she puts a couple of paper towels over the mounting post before installing a toy. That catches any drips from lube or "happy juice" and keeps the base pretty clean. We'll see how long it is before the rollers need lubrication, but I suspect the nylon will hold up for at least a couple months with almost daily use. I was surprised that she could actually use it forwards, as it was meant to, or backwards. Because the mounting base pivots, she is able to use either position. Me... I'm enjoying the show... plus it gets her warmed up for more "personal" attention. Would I recommend it for singles? Yes, but you need to have someone make the adjustments. Would I recommend it for couples? Oh, yes... especially for those adventurous enough. Is is worth the money? I have to say yes. It is very sturdy.
