Digital Planner Stickers - The Complete Beginner's Guide
RevanzArtDigital planning is one of the fastest-growing hobbies, and stickers are half the fun. But if you're new, the file types and apps can be confusing. Here's everything you actually need to know, minus the fluff.
The apps people actually use
- GoodNotes - the most popular, with an Elements library for reusable stickers.
- Notability - great for note-taking, good sticker support.
- Xodo - free, works on Android and Windows.
- Noteshelf and CollaNote - solid alternatives worth a look.
PNG vs the sticker sheet
Individual PNGs let you drag one sticker at a time. A sticker sheet is one image with many stickers, which you crop as you go. Sheets are faster to import; individual files are faster to place. Good packs give you both.
The trick that saves hours
In GoodNotes, import a sticker PNG, tap it, then choose 'Save to Elements'. Now it lives in your Elements library forever - drag it onto any page, any notebook, no re-importing. Do this once per sticker and you never think about files again.
How many stickers do you need?
Fewer than you think. A consistent set of 20-30 beats 200 random ones, because your planner looks intentional. Buy in themes, not in bulk.
