Role Summary:
We're looking for an experienced Digital PR Specialist to join our Thrive Local team and help local businesses build their online authority and visibility. In this role, you'll leverage AI-powered tools, proven processes, and strong writing skills to research, create, and promote content that earns high-quality backlinks, mentions, citations, local media coverage, and business directory listings. You'll write blog articles, guest posts, site pages and other compelling content while executing outreach campaigns and collaborating with internal teams to amplify client success stories. Success in this role requires someone who is proactive, relationship-driven, organized, and data-driven, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deliver measurable results through scalable digital PR strategies. Additional digital marketing experience, especially in SEO or local marketing, is a plus.
In This Role, You’ll Get To:
* Digital PR Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive digital PR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
* Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media professionals to secure media coverage and mentions.
* Content Creation: Create high-quality, engaging content such as press releases and articles that align with PR campaigns.
* Analytics and Reporting: Track the performance of digital PR campaigns using analytics tools and provide regular reports to measure the impact of PR efforts.
You Could Be a Great Fit for This Role If You Have:
* Proven experience in digital PR, with a track record of securing media coverage and improving online brand reputation.
* Strong media relations skills and a network of media contacts.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in social media platforms and monitoring tools.
* Experience with online reputation management and crisis communication.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on PR campaign performance.
* Creative and strategic thinking.
* Understanding of GEO and AI platforms
* Experience using HARO-style platforms.
* Use JustReachOut, Pitchbox, or other similar tools
* Knowledge of SEO and its application in PR is a plus.
* Certification in PR or related fields is a plus.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative strategies and overcome challenges.
