From New York Times Bestseller, Mimi Jean Pamfiloff, Comes Book Three of the Ohellno Series, DIGGING A HOLE. (Standalone.) HE'S THE MEANEST BOSS EVER. SHE'S THE SWEET SHY INTERN. THEY'RE ABOUT TO WRECK EACH OTHER CRAZY. My name is Sydney Lucas. I am smart, deathly shy, and one-hundred percent determined to make my own way in the world. Which is why I jumped at the chance to intern for Mr. Nick Brooks despite his reputation. After ten failed interviews at other companies, he was the only one offering. Plus, everyone says he knows his stuff and surely a man as stunningly handsome as him can't be "the devil incarnate," right? Wrong. Oh...that man. That freakin' man has got to go! I've been on the job one week, and he's insulted my mother, wardrobe shamed me, and managed to make me cry. Twice. Underneath that stone-cold, beautiful face is the evilest human being ever. But I'm not going to quit. Oh no. For once in my life, I've got to make a stand. Only every time I open my mouth, I can't quite seem to muster the courage. Perhaps my revenge needs to come in another form: destroying him quietly. Because I've got a secret. I'm not really just an intern, and Sydney Lucas isn't my real name.

I loved Georgie. Her character had so many sides. She was shy, painfully so, but she had so much determination to prove to her family, how much of an asset she could be. I think she mostly needed to prove it to herself. Her new boss from Hell, is not what she thinks he is, and her whole world comes apart. Her crazed, maniacal Father, has everyone scrambling to find answers, and setting the record straight. Lots of big mistakes, and" Oh, No", moments, to come out with a HEA ending.

Sydney aka, Georgie Walton, Lucas is used to being in the shadows, she is comfortable in her shy bubble that she has built around herself but needing to go undercover as an intern for her families company. She has her reasons and when she begins to work under Nick Brooks she knows she is out of her element. Nick is the devil incarnate, she wants to run in the other direction but Georgie ends up finding her spine and going head to head with Nick. She doesn't expect to fall for the man though. What happens when all is revealed though? This was delightful. I thought the whole story pulled you in and I definitely need to go back and read the rest of the books in the series because clearly a lot more to the story about this family. I enjoyed this quite a bit and I would think I had it figured out only to be surprised. Several laugh out loud moments.

Karen Talley Top Contributor: Historical Fiction Books

The first half of this book had me laughing like a loon! I was so glad that I was alone in the house so that I wouldn't be embarrassed. Georgie, our heroine, is so shy that she lurks in the shadows of any affair that she has attended. When she tries to talk in front of people, she is often left stuttering or rendered completely mute. The youngest child of a super-rich (ruthless and crazy) tycoon, her family is in trouble and she wants to help. Of course, her mother and older siblings think she is incapable and must be protected. To show them that she can help, she bleaches her hair blonde and applies for internships that will show she can make it in the business world. After 10 disastrous interviews (#10 was spectacularly bad), a friend arranges an interview in one of her family's companies. Under an assumed name she goes for her interview and meets the "boss from hell." Nick Brooks is intelligent, gorgeous, and the meanest man she has ever met! Timid little Georgie/Sydney finds that she has a somewhat mean streak, too, as she plots to undermine this devil and have him ejected from the company. Her antics and Nick's counter-measures had me in stitches. The final third of the book is good, but not as crazy funny as the beginning, but still so good that I am on the next book. Language (LOTS of f-bombs) and sexual situations may offend some readers

Mimi Jean Pamfiloff hits the mark every time! She never fails to give her readers an exceptional reading experience. She gives us characters who have depth, intelligence, strength, and passion. They are witty, charming, and sometimes outrageously funny. The storylines are interesting, evenly paced, well written and thoroughly entertaining. Digging A Hole is no exception. I loved it! Georgina Walton needs to become a dragon slayer. All her life her innate shyness has been debilitating but now she needs to prove to her family and most of all to herself that she is capable of stepping and helping to run the family business. The dragon she has to slay? Her a-hole boss Nick Brooks. Things go sideways quickly and Nick is fired by Georgie's brother, Henry. Nick has to reveal who he really is when Georgie does some sleuthing and an accidental meeting with Nick's sister-in-law reveals more information. Then, Sam McDaniel AKA Nick Brooks drops a real bomb on Georgie and he recruits her in taking down her family. Even though things look bad for her brother, Georgie sets out tp prove his innocence. She successfully obtains the information she needs from her deceitful, conniving father. When Georgie learns that Sam walked away from the investigation, she knows then that he loves her as much as she loves him. Now all she has to do is get him to admit it. Have no fear, there is an HEA!

This is the 3rd book in the OHellNO series and while in theory it could be read as standalone, I recommend going back and at least reading Oh Henry (Book 2). Georgie is known for being extremely shy and blending into the background. After a horrific experience involving her father, she realizes that she needs to be able to prove to herself and others that she can stand on her own two feet and be assertive. To do so, she assumes another name as she applies for internships where she ends up getting a job with an incredibly hot, but arrogant jerk. First off, I love Georgie. In the very beginning she seemed weak as her shyness is crippling and then she finally comes into her own. She becomes a strong and very likable character. Nick starts off as a real jerk, but you learn that perhaps things are not always as they seem. The banter between the two is hilarious! This book has it all - well developed characters, humor, and unexpected twists and turns. It moves at a good pace and is entertaining until the very end. There is no cliffhanger and Georgie and Nick get their HEA.

This is Book 3 in the Oh Hell No series that just gets better and better. Digging a Hole can absolutely be read as a standalone but you would be missing out on two great stories if you skip the first two books in the series. Tickle your funny bone, feed your naughty euphemism addiction, warm your heart and melt your panties by starting at Smart Tass. Sydney Lucas and Nick Brooks are quite the pair. Her shyness and his A Hole ways create some pretty spectacular laughs, chemistry, and some seriously tugged heartstrings. The main characters are not who or what they seem - or are they? The twists in this one were amazing. I could not put this one down. Well paced, deviously plotted, fantastically humorous and heartfelt character development - this one is a winner for me.

A Fantastic read

A thoroughly enjoyable read . Georgie was the youngest sibling in the very wealthy Walton family ,who made their money in th pharmaceuticals industry . She was always told by her father that she’d never amount to much as she was so timid in fact her whole family treated her as though she was still a young child . After surviving an “arranged” plane crash together with most of her family they are held captive by their supposedly deranged father who it turns out had orchestrated the whole thing . When they managed to escape and get back home together with their mother and the eldest sibling her brother Henry ( who wasn’t on the plane with them ) ,they set about to get their father arrested and declared insane .Trying to get back to normality she wants a job to prove to her family that she can stand on her own two feet she dons disguises and tries to get a series of jobs , but due to extreme nervousness in which she usually ends up vomiting over the interviewer or the office furniture she obviously is unsuccessful in her quests. That is until her friend suggests a post that’s open in the sales office of one of the company’s that the family own . An interview is arranged obviously using a false name and disguise she plucks up courage to go ,apart from her being so timid it turns out that Nick Brooks who will be her boss although is very good at his job is totally an obnoxious person who seems not to be liked by anyone that works for him . Georgie is certain that the interview isn’t going well but gets a shock when she’s offered the position, after a few days of working there it soon becomes apparent that every thing that she’s heard about her boss is true and is often in floods of tears because of his harsh words to her , that is until she decides to fight back and hatches a plan to get her boss sacked . The story is fast paced and well written with a great deal of humour, never will I be able to see the yoga position Downward Dog and not laugh that imagery will stay with me forever 😂😂😂😂 ,but as the story unfolds it would seem that the timid Georgie isn’t the only one who has secrets as more double identities are revealed .

Laughs and twists. Mimi always delivers!

Mimi never fails to deliver a fun and fast paced novel with loads of twists. Our heroine Georgie is super shy and a nervous wreck, so working for a A hole is going to be fun. Is she going to cry in the bathroom or show her claws? Wow - what a ride. Thank you
