Different Cause of Occurrence of Urinary Stones

Urinary stones are found in the urinary system of the human body and they affect kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra. They can put the patients in a huge amount of abdominal pain. There are different causes of the occurrence of urinary stones in humans. A few causes are mentioned below.

When You Do Not Drink Enough Water- The female urologist Singapore explains that dehydration promotes the formation of urinary stones in kidneys. And dehydration happens when you do not drink enough water daily. Also, if you work in a hot climate then it can also promote the formation of kidney stones.

High Salt Diet- If you eat a high salt diet then urinary stones can occur in your kidneys as a high salt diet affects the absorption rate of water and calcium in kidneys. This increases the level of calcium in urine, and consequently, the urinary stones start to form in kidneys. High consumption of salt also reduces the excretion of citrate, and this is one of the reasons for the occurrence of kidney stones. One thing that you need to know is that cooking salt is not the only salt you consume by eating food, rather many foods contain salt such as potato-made snacks.

High Oxalate Diet- This is one of the most common reasons for the formation of urinary stones. Try to avoid eating oxalate-rich foods. This increases the urinary level of oxalate, which results in forming stones. Also, try to avoid high animal protein.
