Contributory aged parent visa permanent 864 is a permanent visa for parents of Australian citizens or permanent residents aged 65 years or over who have contributed to their government-funded retirement scheme for at least 10 years (usually 20) and have an annual income of less than $50,000. The spouse of the aged parent can also be granted a permanent contributory aged parent visa if they meet the same criteria.
