The New York Post overnight published its second revealing Melania Trump cover.
This time the newspaper found the United States’ would-be First Lady featured in a 1996 edition of Max Magazine in France.
It was a lesbian-themed photo shoot.

Three years beforethe Slovenian-born model Melania Knauss met Donald Trump, she was pictured entwined with Scandinavian model Emma Eriksson.
In other images Eriksson is shown wearing sheer stockings, high heels and long robe — with a whip raised over a 25-year-old Melania dressed in a skin-tight gown.
“This is beauty and not porn. I am always shocked by the porn industry because they are destroying the emotion and the essence of purity and simplicity,” the Post reports the French fashion photographer who took the images, Jarl Ale de Basseville, as saying.

Her would-be president husband Donald was dismissive of the photographs.
“Melania was one of the most successful models, and she did many photo shoots, including for covers and major magazines,” he told US media yesterday. “This was a picture taken for a European magazine prior to my knowing Melania. In Europe, pictures like this are very fashionable and common.”

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh also shrugged off the images, suggesting the lesbian photo shoot may actually help her husband’s prospects with the gay and lesbian community.
“I think this probably might wrap up the LGBTQ vote for Trump,” he said. “And the single, white male vote, particularly the some — or no college educated white male vote. Yeah, I mean, isn’t this kind of stuff that makes people big stars today on Twitter and Facebook, TMZ? I mean, this is just the Kardashians in a sense of the subject type stuff.”
Trump campaign adviser Jason Miller told CNN overnight: “These were photos that are 20 years old, before Mrs Trump met Mr Trump. They’re a celebration of the human body as art.”

— -- To help his future wife’s modeling career, Donald Trump allowed Melania to use his private jet for a photo shoot and had “no problem” with her posing nude, according to the fashion photographer who organized the session.
“For that type of shoot, she was perfect,” said Antoine Verglas, a renowned French photographer who lives in New York.
The pictures of Melania in various forms of undress were featured in a British GQ cover article in 2000. None of the published photos showed full frontal nudity.
Since Trump launched his campaign, Verglas says he has had to threaten lawsuits to prevent anti-Trump websites from using the photos and has turned down “tens of thousands of dollars” to license the Melania photos to other magazines.
“I have to honor my commitment to this shoot,” Verglas told ABC News.
Should Trump win in November, his wife would become the only American first lady known to have posed naked for publication.
“There is nothing pornographic in an image like that,” Verglas said. “It’s a gorgeous image of her.”
Trump was not present for the session, which featured Melania, then Melania Knauss, as a "James Bond" femme fatale on the wings and inside the plane’s cockpit.
But Verglas said Trump was extremely supportive of her modeling career.
“There seemed to be a strong connection between the two of them. I think she was very mesmerized by him. And he was definitely, they seemed to be in love and have fun,” Verglas recalled.
And the photographer said Melania insisted there be no “full nudity” in the pictures used by the magazine.
“Melania was a very reserved person. She was definitely not someone who you would see in nightclubs or going out a lot,” he said. “Pretty down to earth, very nice, very warm.”
Verglas says he talked with her after the anti-Trump website used some of the magazine’s suggestive photos to assure her he had not authorized their use.
“It’s unfair to me. It’s unfair to the person who was photographed,” he said.
“It’s such a big case here in America. In France we never talked about [former French First Lady] Carla Bruni posing in certain photo sessions,” Verglas recalled. “Here, it’s like, become such a big scandal, you know?”

One saucy snap captures her locked in an embrace with another naked female model.
Now 46, she married entrepreneur Trump in 2005 - becoming his third wife.
De Basseville praised his subject, saying: "I think it is important to show the beauty and the freedom of the woman, and I am very proud of these pictures because they celebrate Melania’s beauty."
She also posed in the buff for British mag GQ when she was still known as Melania Knauss.
Intelligent Melania can speak five languages including French, Serbian and German.
But she came under fire last July when she was accused to plagiarising a Michelle Obama speech at the Republican Party convention.
Several excerpts of the speech, endorsing her husband, appeared to copy the words delivered by Barack Obama's wife at the Democrat convention eight years ago.
But Trump's bullish husband was adamant the speech HELPED his campaign for the White House.
He roared: "Good news is Melania’s speech got more publicity than any in the history of politics especially if you believe that all press is good press!"
