DevOps in Riga
Our partner - an established solutions provider to the Global Capital Markets, since 2004, providing software and ‘domain expertise’ led solutions to Financial Services firms, in the areas of Risk Management; Trading Solutions and Post-Trade life cycle; Cloud Adoption - is searching for
DevOps (Infrastructure System Administrator, mid role)
to join their DevOps Team located in Riga
Technical skills expected from you:
- 3+ years as a DevOps/System/Network Engineer automating infrastructure, deployment, network, configuration, or testing processes;
- deep knowledge in Linux/Unix systems administration;
- advanced shell-scripting skills (bash/ksh/zsh);
- experience with configuration management tools (SaltStack/Chef/Puppet/etc);
- basic programming experience, preferably in Python, Ruby or equivalent scripting language;
Additional nice-to-have technical skills:
- CI/CD – creating pipelines, managing pool of agents, tracking artifacts etc;
- knowledge and experience with Security aspects;
- knowledge and experience in Financial industry;
- Windows Administration – approximately 20% of installations are Windows 2012 machines. AD, GPO, CA, SCCM, PowerShell scripting;
- firm understanding of L2/L3 networking (VLAN, IP addressing/routing, VRRP/CARP) ;
- exposure to Docker best practices.
