DevOps Engineer in Riga

Seeking engineers with good knowledge of infrastructure automation processes and with aspiration to automate every single aspect of infrastructure. 

You will work as a part of our largest project RegTek.Solutions team. Targeting Quality, Completeness, Accuracy and Transparency, RegTek.Solutions reduces the cost and shoulders the burden of tracking and implementing critical regulatory reporting solutions. 

Working with all market stakeholders, RegTek.Solutions combines independent, market-validated actionable regulatory intelligence, with proven technologies, to offer pragmatic, modular solutions to financial institutions and intermediaries facing regulatory reporting challenges. 

At RegTek, DevOps team is actioning as a service to provide support to the rest of the team by making sure infrastructure is well-structured and is automated as much as possible. DevOps team faces interesting challenges all the time.

What we expect: 

- a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 

- at least 3 years of experience as a DevOps/System/Network Engineer automating infrastructure, deployment, network, configuration, or testing processes; 

- deep knowledge in Linux/Unix systems administration; 

- advanced shell-scripting skills (bash/ksh/zsh); 

- experience with configuration management tools (SaltStack/Chef/Puppet/etc); 

- basic programming experience, preferably in Python, Ruby or equivalent scripting language; 

- English communication skills to be able to explain and protect your vision; 

- pro-activeness and positive thinking; 

ability to work alone and as a part of the friendly team. 

- The following skills are a huge plus 

CI/CD – creating pipelines, managing pool of agents, tracking artifacts etc; 

knowledge and experience with Security aspects; 

knowledge and experience in Financial industry; 

Windows Administration – approximately 20% of installations are Windows 2012 machines. AD, GPO, CA, SCCM, PowerShell scripting; 

firm understanding of L2/L3 networking (VLAN, IP addressing/routing, VRRP/CARP) ; 

exposure to Docker best practices.
