Role Overview:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us grow the Blockscout customer base and provide the best experience for engineers working with the product. This position is a unique opportunity to join a small and experienced team of veteran engineers in the blockchain space.


As a DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities include automation of deployment processes, deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs


Responsibilities:

- Automate and improve development and release processes

- Build tools to improve customer self-deployment experience

- Implement requested integrations to meet customer needs

- Deploy updates and fixes and monitor application health

- Set up monitoring and alerting

- Perform root cause analysis for production errors, investigate and resolve technical issues

- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

- Setup and maintain EVM RPC nodes while monitoring their performance

- Provide technical support to customers

- Collaborate with development teams to improve the product


Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role

- Strong background in infrastructure automation (we use Terraform and Ansible)

- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and bare-metal servers

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (we use Prometheus stack and Loki)

- Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Teamcity, Github Actions)

- Working knowledge of databases and SQL (PostgreSQL preferable)

- Experience in high load systems engineering

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Knowledge of EVM, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, and GraphQL

Familiarity with Elixir
