DevOps Engineer

At Satellite, we are looking for an experienced and smart Middle/Middle+ DevOps Engineer to join our team to work with the US-based fintech company!
About Client:
ProFund is a dynamic and innovative company headquartered in the United States, dedicated to streamlining and simplifying the crucial aspect of point-of-need financing for professional contractors specializing in roofing projects for home improvements. With a mission to empower contractors and enhance homeowners' experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure for multiple customers and cloud platform (AWS);

• Building, maintaining and optimizing code deployment systems;

• Developing automation scripts for provisioning and auto-scaling of infrastructure;

• Ensuring 99.99%+ uptime and availability of key production systems and supporting infrastructure;

• Monitoring system performance and log data; looking for precursors to issues before they become bigger problems;

• Applying security best practices and ensuring accurate logging and alerting of security-related issues;

• Collaborating with software engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment of software changes and work with project teams on major infrastructure overhauls and upgrades;

• Staying up to date on all current and future AWS services and providing guidance on the best implementations to support our customers’ growth;

• Providing timely production support on released software;

• Continuously improving processes and quality standards;

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• University degree (ideally in computer science, mathematics or physics);

• 2+ years of professional experience managing web scale infrastructure using modern technologies and DevOps principles;

• Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt;

• Experience with implementing AWS security standards;

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, self-managed Kubernetes;

• Setup security and monitoring tools on the infrastructure level;

• Maintain current deployment process and support company operation for all applications and customers;

• Deep understanding CI/CD approach, experience with Git, Docker, ArgoCD, TeamCity, GitHub Actions;

• Docker and Kubernetes Container platforms;

• Self-starter who can take ownership of projects from concept to release;

• At least Upper Intermediate-level English;
