As most readers probably know, both Old and New Testament prophets foresaw unusual heavenly activity connected with arrival of the Great Tribulation period and Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
In Luke 21:25, Jesus Himself prophesied: “there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars.” The Great Tribulation period actually begins with the opening of seals immediately accompanied by signs and wonders in the heavens. For example, Revelation 6:12-14 says, “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars [Greek aster , asteroids] of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were move out of their places.” In the Old Testament, Joel prophesied similarly: “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come” (Joel 2:30-31).
These facts in mind, there exists a specific ancient prophecy about a great burning mountain that falls from the sky (see Rev. 8:10-11), bringing devastation to the world. The prophecy doesn’t state exactly when this will happen, but it provides clues to pinpoint its date of impact—clues that resemble much from our modern age.
Are we about to see this destroying force enter the Earth’s atmosphere? If so, is there anything we can do about it? Has science finally confirmed what prophecy experts and scholars have been saying all along?
Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege to join scientists from CERN and numerous prophecy experts in producing a truly explosive documentary on this subject titled Ragnarok: Humanity’s Last Stand , which asks and uncovers answers to such penetrating questions as:
Watch The “Ragnarok: Humanity’s Last Stand” Trailer
The new investigative documentary (and 4-week SkyWatch TV series starting this week) echoes back to April of 2019 when one night I had gone to bed, not anticipating anything unusual, when, at around 2 o’clock the next morning, I “awoke” in a hyperdimensional reality and saw in the heavens above me what looked like a horned, fiery serpent, hundreds of feet wide, plunging past the stars toward earth at an incomprehensible speed. This terrifying monster seemed to be swimming across the sky, past the planets, as it descended toward Earth.
Just then, my point of view shifted, and I was lifted above the massive object only to realize it was not a dragon after all, but rather a very large rock, and the way it was rolling through space it caused the light of the sun to glide over its contours, giving it the appearance of something undulating through space like a living thing.
The next thing I knew, I was on a tall hill or mountain somewhere, surrounded by thousands of people. We were running, terrified, and people were screaming for God to deliver us from the menace barreling through the sky toward this planet.
Moments later, I heard a deafening sound. It was as if the earth was splitting apart, the ground beneath our feet jerking violently, knocking us to the soil where we bounced viciously against the rocks, desperately reaching out for anything we could cling onto for stability.
Somehow, I knew an asteroid had plunged into the Pacific Ocean, its massive form sending a sequence of tsunamis hundreds of feet into the air.
As I glanced over my shoulder, I could see an overwhelming wall of water coming up over the hillside behind us. I perceived we wouldn’t be able to escape.
But then, it was as if two very large hands slid under my arms, lifting me high into the sky, where, looking down, I watched in shock as people everywhere were swept away by astonishingly large waves slamming into coastal terrains as far as I could see. The atmosphere was simultaneously infused with scorched particles of aerosol and vapor as a blistering culmination of moisture and extreme heat subsequently combusted into a series of high-velocity hurricanes. Tornadoes, volcanoes, and earthquakes seemed to be going off like fireworks with what were likely some of the eleven deadliest volcanoes on earth—those of the Cascadia region of the United States—being triggered like dominos, releasing so much debris into the sky that, for about a week, darkness covered the heavens worldwide as the entire landscape was pounded by hurricanes and atmospheric annihilation circulating within the jet stream. By the time days later when the waters finally settled, storms subsided and the sky grew clear, much of life on earth was dead.
When I awoke, I nearly fell out of bed.
Grabbing for pen and paper to record what I had seen; I was unexpectedly interrupted by what seemed like an audible voice. It could have just been in my head, but it seemed spoken to me. The voice uttered a single word— Apophis.
Now, I knew there was an ancient Egyptian god of chaos and enemy of light known by that name.
I also knew that NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) had named an asteroid Apophis but didn’t know any details about it.
When I got out of bed and headed for my computer to begin research on this particular space rock, I didn’t anticipate that a multi-year-long investigation would ensue that ultimately would lead me to uncover evidence of a cover-up by NASA, ESA (European Space Agency), and other space organizations involving the likelihood of Apophis impacting the earth in less than seven years from now—Friday, April 13, 2029.
Now, you may have seen recently where NASA is saying Apophis will likely not impact earth on that date but will instead barely skim safely past the world while knocking out some of the satellites in orbit around our planet. That said, as you will learn in the new documentary Ragnarok , there are scientists warning that NASA’s trajectory calculation of Apophis is off by as much as six hundred thousand miles, which Mathematician Harry Lear implies could very well send Apophis crashing into earth in approximately seven years from now. Lear sent an open letter to the president of the United States and US government scientists begging them to cross check these calculations immediately, even though he ends his dispatch with an ominous admonition that we may already be out of time.
As I reported last year, besides Lear, top-one-hundred scientist Nathan Myhrvold, in a recent peer-reviewed paper, “An Empirical Examination of WISE/NEOWISE Asteroid Analysis and Results,” also refutes much of the data from NASA, and in fact charges them with deliberately misreporting threats by near-earth objects and of behaving “extremely deceptively” with deliberate “scientific misconduct” in a cover-up of very real and potentially imminent space threats.
Even famous planetary scientist and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson admits that, on April 13, 2029:
Apophis will come so close to Earth that it will dip below our orbiting communication satellites. It will be the largest closest thing we have ever observed to come by earth… the orbit we now have for it IS UNCERTAIN …because these things are hard to measure and hard to get an exact distance for— WE CANNOT TELL YOU EXACTLY WHERE THAT TRAJECTORY WILL BE.” (Emphasis added)
But the mystery of these revelations involving Apophis—and my contention that it represents the Wormwood asteroid of Revelation chapter 8—has gotten much deeper since I wrote the best-selling books The Wormwood Prophecy and subsequent The Messenger . In fact, it wasn’t until after those books were in print and I was doing media interviews on their claims that the biggest insights involving Apophis came to light, which demanded the full-scale Ragnarok investigation. And that research turned up extraordinary facts to say the least.
It was 2 o’clock a.m. when suddenly I sat straight up in bed. A moment earlier, during what was perhaps REM sleep (that mysterious mechanism created by God called “rapid eye movement”) when most dreams or “night visions” occur, glimpses of Wormwood impacting earth and the aftermath following it had startled my subconscious mind, shaking me from slumber.
I had been wrestling inside that spectacular vision moments before, trying to make sense of what was happening around me and what I was watching play out across the world. But not until I awoke did I hear the word “Apophis” whispered across the room, and something deeper—indistinguishable—troubled me. It was as if the ominous voice had only paused to follow later with more revelations from the beyond. What had been concealed in plain sight would suddenly and unexpectedly be exposed live in studio—and right as we were recording the first SkyWatch TV broadcast programs (which aired November–December 2019) regarding my Wormwood vision and supernatural experience. It happened when I was describing how evangelical dispensationalists (and some Catholic prophecy believers) might find the timing of the Apophis-Wormwood impact date (April 13, 2029) ominous regarding a possible “Rapture” of the Church as being soon to occur. (The Rapture is the eschatological, or end-times, event when all true Christians who are alive will be transformed into glorious bodies in an instant and joined by the resurrection of dead believers who ascend with them into heaven). During that program recording, as I was making the case that, depending on one’s position, the asteroid’s impact date as first set by NASA could place the last possible timing of a pre-Tribulation Rapture happening around October 13, 2025, Derek Gilbert—the host for that show—was studying something on his MacBook. Unknown to me, while I was talking, he was searching a Hebrew calendar and checking whether anything interesting would be happening three and a half years before the date I was talking about involving when Apophis will strike earth. He was doing that because prophecy scholars say Wormwood will fall to Earth in the middle of the seven-year Great Tribulation period, thus pre-Tribulation Rapture believers place the rapturous “catching away” of the saints three and a half years before then.
What Derek discovered raised the hair on our necks.
His eyes had fallen on a prominent timeline. Exactly three and a half years to the day before the original date set by NASA for Apophis to come crashing down on this planet, the high holy days of the Feast of Tabernacles will be unfolding on earth. Just a few days before that will be the Feast of Trumpets. Both festivals are strongly tied by eschatologists to the Rapture of the Church.
For example, Jesus said: “In my Father’s house are many [rooms-tents]: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2–3). When He spoke those words, His Hebrew followers would have immediately caught the connection between the Feast of Tabernacles and His Second Coming (or the Rapture), for this annual feast was one of the occasions requiring the Israelites to make a pilgrimage to the wilderness tabernacle and, later, the temple in Jerusalem to appear before God where they would set up temporary tents-rooms at “the Father’s house.” This is the event that will be transpiring on earth exactly three and a half years before Apophis-Wormwood crashes into this planet. Is this mere coincidence, or does it point to an imminent Rapture or Second Coming?
The feast of Trumpets is likewise connected to the Rapture and/or Second Coming because the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52: “Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” During the Feast of Trumpets a series of Shofars are sounded until “the last trumpet” is blown.
However, exactly 120 days before the start of the Feast of Tabernacles in 2025 is Pentecost. And the number 120 in the Bible represents “the end of all flesh” (for example, Genesis 6:3 says, “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” Moses is another example. He was 120 years old when he died (Deuteronomy 34:7).
The number 120 is also tied to the Feast of Pentecost:
And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty), Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled. (Acts 1:15–16)
And Pentecost is likewise connected to the Rapture as, to this day, Orthodox Jews believe sometime during this feast a window is opened in heaven allowing entry for a very brief period of time.
These connections continue but when Derek pointed that out during the show, you could have knocked me over with a feather, as they say. How had I not seen this before sending The Wormwood Prophecy to the printer?
Even then, things were about to get profusely more enlightening. We had but scratched the surface of a much larger revelation tying Apophis-Wormwood with prophecy, Jewish feasts, and the ancient idea that asteroids and comets are “messengers” of the gods and omens of important coming events. For example, when the Magi in Matthew 2:2 saw the “star” [Greek aster , from which the English word asteroid is derived], they interpreted it as a “messenger” that the “King of the Jews” was born; they had seen “his star ( aster ) in the east, and were come to worship him” (Mt.2: 1-2). Similarly, the Apophis-Wormwood-Feasts connection could imply that a countdown clock is ticking now—a countdown that the world and the organized Church are unaware of—and just as an asteroid heralded the first coming of Christ, Apophis could be set to herald the second coming of Jesus and may even be connected to Mt. 24:30, which states: “The world will mourn when they see the sign of the son of man coming in the heavens.”
IS NASA PART OF A COVER UP WITH CATASTROPHIC IMPLICATIONS?! NEW DOCUMENTARY “RAGNAROK” TELLS ALL!
Of course, it is just my opinion, but given all of the above I thus have a strong intuition (which has been very accurate before; for example, when I publicly predicted the exact moment Pope Benedict would resign over a year in advance)—that mankind has likely entered the last decade of history as it has been known—what prophecy teachers call the Church Age. In the Ragnarok documentary and in my newest book Zeitgeist 2025 we examine how even the Essenes of Dead Sea Scrolls fame (astonishingly accurate Hebrew prophets) predicted over 2000 years ago that mankind would enter its final age (Jubilee cycle) in 2025, 3.5 years before Apophis likely fulfills the Wormwood Prophecy of Revelation chapter 8.
Obviously, the Rapture could happen at any time, but these facts intrigue when also compared to the prophecy-infused Jewish feasts connected with the Wormwood Prophecy and the date of the asteroid’s arrival in 2029.
So… wrap your mind around what I am saying: Exactly three and a half years before Apophis-Wormwood is set to smash into this planet, the Feast of Tabernacles will be happening on earth following the Feast of Trumpets a few days before, and 120 days earlier the feast of Pentecost. These will unfold all in the same year the Essenes predicted mankind will enter its final age—2025.
And why should we care what the Essenes predicted? Because of their accuracy to date. For example, they correctly prophesied hundreds of years ahead of time (among many other things I outline in Zeitgeist 2025 ):
That list goes on and raises the serious question: Assuming for the moment that I am right, and that all these heavenly signs, prophecies, and feasts insinuate the asteroid Apophis is biblical Wormwood and therefore 2029 represents a time around the middle of the Great Tribulation period when the trumpet judgments begin, Monday, October 13, 2025 (April 13, 2029, minus three and a half years), would be the approximate start date of the seven years of Tribulation foreseen in Scripture (see Matthew 24:21; Revelation 7:14; and Daniel 12:1), the very time the Essenes predicted the final age of man.
And it’s not just ancient prophets and Jewish feasts that seem to be strangely connected to this idea and the year 2025.
This same time period is also the one envisioned ten years ago in a series of studies co-organized by the Atlantic Council and government organizations from Europe, the US, Beijing, Tokyo, Dubai, and other partnering nations that led the US National Intelligence Council and the EU Institute of Security Studies to produce a report titled Global Governance 2025 : At A Critical Juncture . In that document, the highest-level intelligence agencies in the world determined that a global government could emerge around 2025 from “an unprecedented threat” that would materialize requiring all nations to lay down their differences and come together in mutual defense of one another against an unprecedented “menace.” In particular, they foresaw an incoming asteroid, a new pandemic (which I believe Apophis is bringing with it via an extremophile microorganism with a virus), as well as a biotech-created “new form of human” representing existential threats.

But the list does not stop there. In addition to these prophets and intelligence agencies, in 1997, a work describing itself as a thesis “that turns history into prophecy” by professors William Strauss and Neil Howe was released. It was titled, The Fourth Turning , and examined Western historical paradigms over the past five centuries. It unveiled cycles of life and generational archetypes that reveal an astoundingly prescient pattern of incidents that ultimately lead to chaos and a so-called Fourth Turning.
The authors describe these “Turnings” as “an era with a characteristic social mood (a zeitgeist), a new twist on how people feel about themselves and their nation. It results from the aging of the generation [before it].” [i] A society enters a Turning once every twenty years or so, when all living generations begin to penetrate their next phases of life. The living generations, or saeculae , comprise four cyclical Turnings, characterized as:
Through the examination of an enormous amount of political and cultural history, Strauss and Howe processed more than five hundred years of such Anglo-American cultural Turnings into remarkable, well-organized, and predictable cycles, and it was from this reservoir that they finally staked an uncanny claim about America and the future of the world (keep in mind they made these predictions nearly twenty-five years ago, long before the September 11, 2001, attacks on America, the pandemic of today, or the January 6, 2021, riots at the US Capitol and subsequent prosecution of Donald Trump). Among the scenarios they foresaw were:
In describing these insightful scenarios, Strauss and Howe felt a catalyst would unfold as a result of a specific dynamic, and “an initial spark will trigger a chain reaction of unyielding responses and further emergencies.” [iii]
Just after the millennium, America will enter a new era that will culminate with a crisis comparable to the American Revolution, the Civil War, the Great Depression, and World War II. The very survival of the nation will almost certain
