An attack in the coffee shop leaves Nick and Angie in a disagreement; Lynette sues Carlos and his company; Bree bribes an ex-con to spend time with Orson; Susan discovers Bree's affair.

I bought the entire series. It was one of my favorite programs. How wonderful is it to watch this series WITH NO COMMERCIALS, it's great. Highly recommend to buy a series that you love and want to watch over and over without commercials. It's a NEW experience. The problem is, that After watching something I love without commercials, it's hard to go back to commercials. I don't know what's happening in TV land but the commercials are now 6 minutes long, but the worst thing is there are more commercial breaks than ever. I am about to consider not watching TV anymore. WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE AFFECTED BY SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY COMMERCIALS. It is totally ridiculous. I have several friends who are dropping regular TV and streaming movies so they don't have to deal with THIS MANY COMMERCIALS IN ONE PROGRAM. Yes!!!! I am able to FF through the commercials, but there are so many now, that it doesn't make a difference in not wanting to watch regular TV and I have been spoiled by watching Desperate Housewives and Becker without commercials, two programs I can watch over and over. I m so spoiled now.
All of the discs in the set worked perfectly. Arrived on time.
Overall, a really great season. Susan, after so much drama and terrible experiences finally gets her happiness again, remarrying Mike Delfino, her show's regular beau. Lynette has to deal with her pregnancy and Bree with her affair with Karl Meyer, Susan's ex-husband. Gabrielle, now mother from last season, has another child to take care of, Carlos's neice, Ana, a troublesome teenager from the start. Meanwhile, the most troubled housewife probably remains the one that isn't one: Katherine. Having to deal with Susan and Mike's relationship, and her own failed one, she isn't someone to be called stable in this season for those who are fans of her. The show also introduces a new family onto Wisteria Lane: Angie Bolen, and interesting, historical last, name, fitting to the fiery spirit this mother has when protecting her family. Also included in this seasons wild showings is a plane crash right in the middle of the lane, and the reprecussions from that, as well as a mysterious strangler who begins to kill and hurt many of our girls. Definitely a great season not to be missed.
No problems with viewing in HD. I am satisfied with my purchase. I now own all of the seasons.
I am really enjoying this series. It is better then season 5 in that there are more characters and a faster moving plot. There are several new characters including the Bolan family with a history and a glamorous new girlfriend for one of the Scarvo sons. There are many funny scenes such as the 'healthy competition' between Susan and Gaby's children at school. They each are part of a animal grouping system for maths and English. Once Gaby breaks the code of hierarchy then tears and arguments follow. I found myself laughing more this series as well. Although the stories are deeply moral there were just more smiles to be had this season. Bree aims to work on her marriage with Orson and Katherine makes a recovery following her breakdown after Mike married Susan again. Susan also helps out an ex stripper which delights all the men on the lane! Well worth buying for a DH fan or those who are curious-its well worth a try!
I like this series' Angie Bolen mystery and the strangler. There are some unexplainable goofs - like Julie, who should be 22 or 23 - maybe even 24! - hanging out with neighbourhood kids still in school, and Lynette's pregnancy and the whole deceiving your boss game - plus Carlos's overreaction (to think about his coming to wanting to be a "good guy" in season 8, it makes me want to laugh). There were a few too many stereotypical stories (the Scavos's future daughter in law, for example) which did not really strike me as remotely realistic. But I guess you can't expect too much from a 6th season of a good series. It was ok!

Excellent - It Just Keeps Getting Better
My wife absolutely loves watching Desperate Housewives - I don't. For the last 6 years at Christmas, I have bought her the current series so she can be totally up to date. So in terms of a review, I'll keep it brief. Essentially, if you are a fan of Desperate Housewives, you will not be disappointed - according to my wife this series is very good and keeps up the excellent storylines and humour. The good thing about ordering through Amazon is that you know you will be getting the proper product at a superb price and quickly delivered. Highly recommended.

Would be 5 stars if i could watch it... :-(
Well, delivery was amazing by amazon, as always. I had bought all of the last 5 seasons through amazon and had no complaints, so when i sat down to watch season 6 i was happy that all would be fine and dandy. I tried to play disk 1 and disk 2 but no joy, they simply would not work, no matter how much i cleaned them. Disk 3 to 6 worked fine but what good is that when 8 episodes are missing! I will be filing a complaint and hopefully get these 2 disks replaced.
