Description of project

Here is a description of project:

So this is the story. Medimart (name of project) is made up of 8 online pharmacy stores which sell prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Medimart sells across the world, but predominantly in North America as that is where the company was born. We have a few offices across the world including Canada and a call center in the Philippines, and until recently an office in Amsterdam alongside some affiliate businesses. With the disbanding of the Amsterdam team and therefore office, we are looking to move the development part of our business to Kiev through Youwe.

As for the projects we have three categories. The first is our main Magento 2 website where most of our traffic goes through. We have been building and optimizing this website with the goal of making this one blueprint for the other we intend to bring over to M2. We are focussing on building a few more features before we move all other stores across. We have a large website which is the second category that we are in the process of moving to M2. We have started this project already as the code is a little old and it's preferable to get this moved as soon as we can. We have another six M1 stores which we are looking to move across but their traffic is a little lower so they are not the priority. Ultimately, we will have our flagship store, our UK focussed store, and our discount store all on the M2 platform.  

So the two new hired developers in Kiev\Ukraine would long-term be the people responsible for the decisions and the development of these stores.

As for the team we have a team in Youwe looking after the servers which is out of our hands. Project Lead (Tavis) and with the help of the company owner who he works directly with they understand the priority of the tasks and execute them. We use scrum to prioritise work and mostly we share what we are thinking on a daily call with our ERP manager in Canada, frequently the business owner and PM. So the guys or gals in Kiev\Ukraine would be together in the office responsible for the builds and the day-to-day of the site.
