The character seemed fairly popular during his initial stint or I guess two stints when he, among other things, blackmailed Sonny into marrying him. Then he was back for the first Beyond Salem, then came back to the main show trying to marry Craig for his money. I thought the Craig coming out story was mostly very bad, but not because of Leo, who frankly seemed to be somewhat unfairly maligned in comparison to Clyde Weston, who was dating Nancy and no one seemed all that concerned. Plenty of people have done much worse and been fine. But yeah, it does seem like recent story is an effort to rehab the character, though a somewhat half-hearted one. Also completely agree that EOB is just not cutting it as Theresa. WOW, what a failure with them getting rid of Gwen, having had real Theresa. Now this. The Jack shower switch was an all-time classic. It was very, very good, the best in recent memory. Arianne Zucker was amazing. The way things unfolded actually made much more sense than I thought it was going to. But still, a great episode overall. The SB Mason switch stunt was only shown in Australia! Thanks to youtube we mere Americans can see it now, too! I have been eager to see what the show would look like without Ron at the helm, especially with the possibility that writers who were known to have gone fi-core might be writing to fill in the gaps. Some people were still complaining rampantly about GH when the show was really firing on all cylinders. All that to say, I think the baby switch storyline has actually been quite good with the developments of the last couple of weeks. This big story and the story with Chanel, Johnny, Holly and Tate are mostly working for me. We would have been better off keeping Gwen. None of these characters need to be on the show. Honestly my all-time favorite Stephanie pairing is when she was engaged to Phillip. It would be nice to see him parenting his children a little more. This show over the last couple of weeks has been significantly improved over last year, much more enjoyable. This show spent the majority of last year destroying Xander and Sarah, to the point that I could hardly remember why I would have wanted them to be together. It was really nice to be reminded of how wonderful their dynamic together is. I also enjoyed the conversation between Rafe and EJ. Their dynamic is interesting, because they intensely dislike one another but they need to work together as police commissioner and DA. I will be glad when we get past the point of episodes where Albert Alarr was in charge. Alarr was fired in early August at the end of a two-week hiatus that started the last week of July, so probably the material he oversaw will be airing for at least another month. Does Everett even remember Jada? Was he laying the groundwork to pretend not to remember her? I get that they are establishing that these two are friends, but it felt forced. She was never particularly popular with the audience, and I think after her last stint, people were really hating her. I certainly was. It makes it feel like things have been dragging on for twice as long as they have. Is there a pattern of behavior with Albert Alarr? What do people think about this? It would be smart of Corday to settle instead of going into a court battle, but I have to imagine this will cost them dearly. For me, the best outcome would be that Ken Corday ultimately has to step down and allow someone else to be the head of the show in both name and practice. His inadequate leadership is a root cause for all that is being alleged.
