Best day of my cruise! Del Mar is just the right size. Its clean, great service and absolutely the right price. This will be my go-to place in Cozumel.

Great service, food, drinks, and the best snorkeling we've done in ages! It is an easy stroll of about 15 minutes from Puerto Maya port to this little spot of paradise. We were greeted by our check in lady that remembered us from 6 months ago! Our favorite waiter Jazz helped us settle on our perfect spot for the day and asked for our first orders, delicious Bloody Mary drinks! The weather was perfect, sunny with a few passing clouds, the views were gorgeous, clear water and the two ships in port that day. Yes, there is no "sandy beach", but the steps to the water open up "that whole different world" under the sea, with thousands of beautiful tropical fish. We also enjoyed the fresh water showers and the infinity pool. The clean, spotless restrooms are always appreciated! Don't forget to order the nachos, the seafood cocktail dish, and the coconut shrimp dish. The food selection is wonderful and wonderfully prepared! We highly recommend Del Mar beach club and look forward to returning next time we are in Cozumel! …

We did not want a big place for our last day on the ship. This Resorts value far exceeds the price you pay. The food & drinks were on point, and plentiful. Great coconut shrimp, guacamole, and the best seafood ceviche, EVER! The pool & beach while small, never seemed crowded. Excellent. We will return here …

De Mar Latino inCozumel is an excellent way to spend your day on Cozumel. The food and drinks are all inclusive and the service is top notch. This is within walking distance from the Carnival and International port and you can't beat it for the price. We have been here four times and will continue to return on our cruises to Cozumel. We highly recommend!! …

We had fun at this lively, creative restaurant in downtown Del Mar.Parking was easy in the garage. My wife and I spit the chicken enchiladas that were delicious. The chips and salsa were excellent as was the guacamole dip. Our server, Chelsea, was fun and on top of everything.
Celebrating my birthday there and they were out of the pescado Vera Cruz. I was bummed. But, the banana fish plate was good.
The service was poor, I usually love coming here but think it was an off night for them. I also noticed they have smaller portions. I got the carnitas tacos. Usually they come with 3 and a side of beans. there were only two on the plate and a kale salad. the food was still spectacular. I would also say the drinks are really expensive for what you get. Margarita was $20. and was mostly ice. I paid more for my margarita then I did for my food.

My server I believe was just super busy - Help for her would have been nice.
For having reservations a few hours earlier and the place not being busy, we still got the worst seat they had there. No fire pit or beautiful outside seating that we never were offered. The ceviche was too fishy and no flavor.

Our server, Soleil, was awesome. We were celebrating 2 birthdays & she she made our evening even more special.
We were looking for healthy Mexican food and so happy we tried this restaurant! High quality fresh ingredients and great flavors without being over-seasoned. Great service too!
We ordered from the restaurant week menu. The tostada dish while delicious was soooo small. The other choice (a sandwich) ordered by one of us was overbearingly oily (mostly the bread) and overall was too salty.
Salads were very good. Chips/salsa was great, as always.

Next year, won't order from restaurant week menu and order my usuals from the menu :-)
Great food and cocktails! Loud music inside, but the patio was comfortable and less noisy.
Lunch at Tamarindo Del Mar was lovely. My family and I had a great time. The location is beautiful. And the ambiance was good. I ordered the Octopus + Mahi Tacos. The taste was average nothing wonderful or awe worthy. The seasoning on the fish was lacking but the combination of octopus and fish was wonderful. The mango added a fun flavor and I loved the mix of textures. Our waitress had a great attitude and was very nice, however she was a bit clumsy and insecure. She completely forgot my cousins drink and he was way to nice to tell her. I did feel she was very timid or insecure and this would cause her to be clumsy when handing over plates. Regardless we had a great and fun time.
I didn’t care for the cheese pablano enchilada. I’m a big cook and grew up on Mexican food. I make better! Way too much of everything in it, way too many onions. I took a couple bites. Black beans are from cans I presume. Rice and beans are both very bland.
The chicken enchiladas were wonderful!
Love the pork belly tacos! Even though it’s no longer in the menu, Dave was able to make it happen.
Food was excellent. Service and ambience also great. We had a table with an ocean view. They also had a restaurant week offering but we ordered off the regular menu. Will definitely go back.
Food was amazing !! Really happening was loud inside but moved outside and was better !! Great spot! I hear the owner Lee is a superstar too waiting to see him there! 😍
First time coming to this place. We got there with a reservation and the gentleman in the front sat us down quick. Great customer service waiter always attentive. Got our food fast and everything warm. I will return again and get the corn spears very good.

It was my 32 years wedding anniversary! The service was amazing and our serve Soleil S was friendly, personable and wonderful personality. My table request was meet and that also made my day. Thank you for making the day special.
I made a reservation online and included that I needed a high chair and booster seat. When we arrived they had the table all set and ready to go. It’s the small things that help a family with small children that really stand out. Thank you!
At 11:30 a.m. we received great service and a choice of where to sit.
Everything there was amazingly flavorful. Love the fig mole sauce they have. The service was great as well...the team was attentive and helpful with it being our first time there to explain things. These days....many restuarants seem to lack good food quantity/quality/value and in the service area...Tamarindo was not one of those. Prices were reasonable, the food was great and the service attention could not have been better. We will be back!

we had the fish tacos, they were okay...honestly have had better at Rubios.
the proximity to the beach and the indoor/outdoor vibe is the highlight.

We went for a birthday celebration. The food was amazing! We loved the guacamole…very fresh and delicious. The drinks were equally amazing! Above all, our service was top notch. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We will most definitely be back and often!
Love that you can mix and match the tacos. Shrimp and the ahi tuna were both excellent. Loved that you can order double size margaritas and the tamarind house special is awesome. Comes with a shot of mescal and the glass was rimed with a thick layer of tamarind with tajin.
Our third time to Tamarindo since we moved to California! This time we went for my son’s birthday with out of town grandparents!
Sat inside due to weather, so a little noisy, but was fine! Our server, Charlie, was amazing! Was quick, kind, and made great recommendations! Our table had the Molcajete—absolutely delicious !
Rolled tacos, guacomole for apps as well…fantastic! Drinks great also! When Charlie found out it was a birthday celebration, he brought out a lovely dessert surprise!
We will def be back and always bring our out of town guests!

This was the third time we were dining at Tamarindo. The first two times we had great food. At our recent visit the food quality was very disappointing. It lacked in flavor and appeared to be re-heated instead of made fresh. The drink order came out wrong and we did not care for salt on a strawberry margarita. Unfortunately inconsistent in food quality and service 🙁.

We went for date night as we were spending the day in Del Mar and I’m glad we did. Loved the ambiance, it was a little loud but because everyone was enjoying themselves so much. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Only thing was the cocktails weren’t that flavorful. But the date was worth it!
Solid place. Part of the meal came out 10 minutes after everyone else’s. Server was great.
