Defence and Security: EIFORCES Graduates 18 Instructors

They were trained on security maneuvers for four weeks at the International School for Security Forces in Yaounde.
Some 18 professional interns from 12 African countries trained as Operational Crossing Instructors have graduated from International School for Security Forces (EIFORCES) in Yaounde. This was in a ceremony presided at by the Director General of the establishment, Brigadier General Bitote André Patrice on November 16, 2018 at the school campus on be half of the Minister Delegate at the Presidency of the Republic in charge of Defence.
The training, realised with the support of France started on October 22, 2018 and ended on November 16, 2018.
He urged the graduates to strictly respect professional deontology and human rights in the exercise of their duties as they try to safeguard the territorial integrity of their respective countries.
With the challenging security threats faced by every continent, Brigadier General Bitote André Patrice urged the trained officers to be guarantors of peace and security in their localities.
The officers were trained on several security topics including criminal procedure, access to difficult sites and other pedagogic literature which embodies security techniques. According to the results of the trained officers, Lieutenant Aloye Kideli of Togo emerged first with an average of 18 on 20, with Cameroon’s Gendarme Officer, Temkou Tadjitio Gildas occupying the second position.
Temkou Tadjitio Gildas said the training has enabled him acquire additional security skills and he is capable of transferring the competence to other officers. “The quality of training is reflective of the relations between Cameroon and France,” he stated.
