Good evening, we're from Ukraine!

This is an instruction manual for those who would like to provide their computers to the centralized management of the IT army of Ukraine, for the power of your device to be leveraged to help russian websites "follow the russian warship".

Death by 1000 needles

Our wonderful friends created a solution called db1000n that allows to update the list of targets automatically from the main management server without the need to search for them manually.

How to join the attack

1. Download the latest version of db1000n from the repository on GitHub that contains different versions for different operating systems

2. Start the attack by launching the file db1000n from the downloaded archive.

Optionally:

* if you don't know which file is right for you or how to launch it, use the instructions below in the "Installing and launching db1000n" section.

* if possible, download any VPN. Services listed at the end of this article provide free access for Ukrainian residents for a certain amount of time. Launch the VPN and. if possible, set the region to russia. In any case don't use Ukraine as the location! Any other country or location for the VPN will do. If you are unable to download/use VPN, just skip this step and start the attack!

P.S. To stop the attack just close the program.

Installing and launching db1000n

Windows OS

1. Determine the system architecture in one of the following ways:

On the Desktop, right-click the "This computer" icon -> "Properties" -> find the line called "System type"
Open "This computer"/"My computer" (where your disks are) -> right-click the empty space -> "Properties" -> find the line called "System type"

2. Left-click the .zip-archive of the latest version of the program from the GitHub repository, based on the architecture determined in the last step.

For example,

db1000n_0.8.7_windows_amd64.zip - if you have an x64 system(check for the latest version in the GitHub repository)
db1000n_0.8.7_windows_386.zip - if you have an x32/x86 system(check for the latest version in the GitHub repository)

3. Extract the archive to any location on your computer:

Open the folder with the file you just downloaded. Right-click the file, select "Extract all"
Select where to extract the files and click "Extract".

If you have a VPN, it's time to launch it and select the russia region, if possible. It's forbidden to use Ukraine as the location of your VPN! Any other country or location will do.

4. In the folder you have just extracted, double-click db1000n.exe.

5. Congratulations, the attack has started! You can continue using your device as usual.

Linux and *nix-like OS

1. Select the .tar.gz archive based on your system architecture (you can check this by executing "uname -m" in the terminal):

db1000n_0.8.7_linux_386.tar.gz - if your OS is x32/x86
db1000n_0.8.7_linux_amd64.tar.gz - if your OS is x64
db1000n_0.8.7_linux_armv6.tar.gz - if your OS is arm
db1000n_0.8.7_linux_arm64.tar.gz - if your OS is arm64bit

2. Extract the archive to any location on your computer.

3. Start db1000n from the terminal: navigate to the containing folder and run "./db1000n" or drag the file into the terminal window and press "Enter".

4. Congratulations, the attack has started! You can continue using your device as usual.

Mac OS

1. Select the .tar.gz archive based on your CPU

db1000n_0.8.7_darwin_arm64.tar.gz - for М1 Macs
db1000n_0.8.7_darwin_amd64.tar.gz - for Intel Macs

2. Extract the archive to any location on your computer.

If you have a VPN, it's time to launch it and select the russia region, if possible. It's forbidden to use Ukraine as the location of your VPN! Any other country or location will do.

3. Open the terminal (here's how).

4. Start db1000n from the terminal: navigate to the containing folder and run "./db1000n" or drag the file into the terminal window and press "Enter".

5. Congratulations, the attack has started! You can continue using your device as usual.

Your actions will be most effective if you use a VPN or proxy that provide an IP address outside Ukraine.
