Deals Radar ("the Extension") is committed to protecting user privacy. This policy outlines how information is handled.
1. Data Collection & Local Storage
• Gemini API Key: Your personal Gemini API key is stored strictly locally on your device via Chrome storage (chrome.storage.local). It is never sent to our servers or third parties other than Google's official Generative Language API endpoint to fulfill your deal requests.
• Product Information: When activated on a supported product page, the extension reads the visible product title, listed price, and product URL to build a valuation prompt for the Gemini API. No browsing history, cookies, or personal account identifiers are collected, tracked, or retained.
• No Data Sold: We do not collect, monetize, sell, or transfer any personal data.
2. Third-Party Services
The extension communicates with Google's Gemini API and offers search links to Google Shopping. Interactions with Google services are subject to Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
