Deadwood Game Handle Reaches $140M In September

U.S.-South Dakota Gaming Commission reports Deadwood's September wages reached $140 million. This is a 4.64% decrease from the same period last year.


Players bet $131.5 million on slot machines and $7.6 million on table games. Slot machine handles decreased by 5.2%, while table game handles increased by 1.4%. Sports Betting generated $979,693, which is a 37.7% increase from the previous year. 


NFL Attracts Most Sports Betting At $425,937.96. NCAA Football came in second with $324,804.06, followed by Major League Baseball with $155,641.77.


Mike Rodman, executive director of the Deadwood Gaming Association, said, "We saw a 2.63% year-over-year increase due to a decrease in September sales. Year-over-year growth in sports betting is 25.25%. Deadwood sportsbook operators fell just short of the $1 million target for sports betting."


Deadwood City is the only area in South Dakota where you can gamble legally. Sports betting has been allowed in deadwood since 2020, but players must be at deadwood casinos. 슬롯머신
