I just tried this game and it seems pretty rough.
Dead in Vinland is free this month for those who have Twitch Prime. I don't think there is a way to get the DLC through Twitch currently so this is just the vanilla game.

Hi I'm legally blind, I was wondering about when you gather resources, and any other stuff that happens to your survivors. When you complete a part of the day, do you get a list of what and how much you gathered, and where is it? Also does it stay put until I go to the next part of said day, or does it fade away?
So, for some reason I never get encounters while exploring. I ramped up the encounter chance and have Kari 'looking for a fight,' and it says the encounter chance is 100%, but still nothing. It's been like this for a few different runs and I can't figure out why. Scripted fights work fine, though. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I've tried the game a couple of times and my last go went for more than 100 days but then björk killed everyone. So now that about to begin again I wonder if anyone has some ticks or tricks to help me
I was just playing and had Yaghoub in my camp. In the middle of the night, he stabbed Eirik in the back, and Eirik fought him off and killed him. They had seemed to be getting along quite nicely with a strong positive relationship.
Does anyone know why Yaghoub tries killing Eirik? Is he just a murderer like Angelico who stabs whoever is patrolling that night, or is it a grudge with Eirik?
Best I could guess is he was mad I had Eirik hooking up with Parvaneh and was jealous, but Yaghoub and Parvaneh didn't actually seem like a couple. Other guess I had is that he disapproved of some of Eirik's answers to the moral quandaries he poses some nights.
I feel like my camp is always just on the edge of doom and chaos.
Barely enough of anything, always just scraping to get by one more day.

DEAD IN VINLAND is a survival/management game, mixed with RPG and adventure elements, about a Viking family trying their best to survive on a mysterious island. Exiled on a faraway and unknown land, lead Eirik and his family on their quest to survive . Manage their physical and mental health, explore the island , organize your camp and deal with other human beings. Some will help you, and some will be less... friendly. Unveil the esoteric mysteries of Vinland . They could save your life… or lead you to your demise. KEY FEATURES Deep survival management simulation : find and gather resources, secure a supply of food, take care of the mental and physical health of your characters, fight diseases and wounds, ration your water supplies, endure the elements (storm, drought, rain…). Challenging : the game is turn-based so you have time to take the best decisions, but the challenge is high!
