I absolutely love my new Delonghi Electric Kettle. I purchased the "Used- Like new" item, and received it in 2 days. The packaging was said to be damaged, but I didn't find it to be badly damaged at all. The contents were all there, including the user manual and the registration card. I bought it for the color; replacing my Bodum electric kettle which I love. In comparison, the Delonghi heats up quickly; just as fast, and the button to operate is actually more accessible and easier to operate. I can fill it with 4 bottles of water easily. The only thing I noticed is that it's a tad louder when reaching boiling point, but not to the point of being annoying or reason for dislike or return. I'm so happy to have this kettle to display on my counter and it matches my Anolon Advanced Bronze cookware and accessories. I am tempted to get the matching 110v 2-slice toaster, but $206 is rather steep for me right now. I highly recommend this kettle!
I wanted a plastic-free, stylish electric kettle. I searched high and low and settled on this. It's great except I think the heating element warms the plastic base and so it emits a plasticy smell, even a month into using it. It's slowly fading but it's not fun to go through this much effort to find a plastic-free electric kettle and then have the plastic base emit fumes.
i love this! we just came back from japan and we had this in our hotel room to use. it is just like the one we used and it is so fast, easy, convenient and neat! it gets water very hot. easy to use/pour. reminds me of being in japan and love it!
So, so pretty! Goes beautiful with my counter. Absolutely dripless pour. Shipped for free from Japan took awhile but no big deal. All instructions were in Japanese.
Note all instructions are Asian characters with no English. Pot comes just to simmer then auto shuts off. There is a sieve at spout for loose tea leaves. Spout pours without dripping (well designed). Made hot tea with 3 bags started with hot tap water and tea ready fast. Design is very nice (beige and brown with chrome accents) and lid is chromed metal. However a true retro design would have a BROWN electric cord instead of a GREY electric cord. Also would prefer a 3-prong (grounded) cord.

Sleek and modern looking kettle. Easy to clean with its high gloss texture. And more importantly, it boils water fast and actually actually shuts off when it’s done, which was the whole reason to buy a new one. Worth the money. Doo-it. Buy it.
The kettle arrived quickly, carefully packed with bubble wrap outside the box. It arrived with no dents nor damage to both the box as well as the contents inside. We love the kettle- its beautiful and works perfectly. It boils quickly & still holds plenty of water. Note: A small plastic insert in the spout, optional for straining loose tea, can easily be removed if you want no plastic inside.

◎使用期間 ・約3ヵ月。 ◎購入理由 ・もともと使用していたティファールのポットの注ぎ口が丸くて、いつもこぼれるのが嫌でこれに買い換えました。 ◎良いところ ・購入理由に対しては結果は良好。注ぎ口が鋭角なので、注ぎ中にこぼれるようなことはありません。 ◎悪いところ ・蓋が開けにくい ティファールと違いスイッチやレバーなどで開けるタイプではなく、力づくで上に引っ張るタイプ。固いし危ない。 特にうちは常備のお茶を作るのに1リットル以上沸かすので、熱いうちに蓋を開けて次の水を入れるときに、蓋を思い切り力を入れて開けないといけなく、熱いお湯が飛び散り火傷の危険がある。特にお年寄りは開けられないと思う。 ・とにかく給水量のメモリが見にくい 水を入れるメモリが何故かハンドルの下にあるので、給水中は給水量をほとんど確認できない。その為なのか、ポットの内部にここまで入れるという目安になるステンレスのバーがあるが、大抵の人はポットを斜めに持って水を入れるのであまり意味がない。 ・沸いたことがわからない ティファールに比べて、沸きあがった時の音があまりに小さく、沸いても気づかない。 また、沸いたことを表すボタン（ランプ）の位置が微妙過ぎてわからない。 ・ポット自体が熱くなる 間違って触れたら火傷してもおかしくないくらい本体が熱くなる。 ・なかの水が一度に出ない ほとんど逆さになるまでなかのお湯を出し切っても、戻す時にまだお湯が出てきて危ない。
オフホワイトのような感じの色味を想像していましたが、画像よりはかなりベージュというか普通のベージュです。 蓋が硬いとのレビューが多いですが、取り外して洗える仕様ですので傾けても落ちないためには仕方がないかなと思います。むしろパチっとはまる感触が個人的には好きです。 最後まで注げず中に残ることと、プラスチックの台の部分が安っぽく、かつ軽くて動いてしまうことはストレスに感じます。 それでも本体のステンレスの質感とデザインに惹かれて購入したので、満足しています。 本体が熱くなるとのレビューもありましたが、本体がプラスチックのティファールでもある程度熱くなるため触ることはありませんでしたし、特に不都合は感じません。

Very good and pretty kettle overall. It boils water very quickly. I think it worths the price and is cheaper and lighter than SMGE kettle.
見た目重視で購入しました。 ただただお洒落です。 正直、使い勝手は良くありません。 お湯が沸くと表面もかなり熱くなるので小さなお子様がいらっしゃる家庭では注意が必要。 そして少し離れた所に居ると湧いたことに気付きづらいです。 さらに蓋がかなりかたく開けづらい。。 湧いて使用した後に残り湯を捨てて蓋を開けておきたいのですが、あまりに蓋がかたくて力いっぱいするので中身が熱いままだと開いた拍子にお湯の水滴が手にかかり毎回熱い思いをします。 火傷するほどではないですが。 ただ、お洒落で可愛いのでキッチンに置いているのを見る度に気分が上がります。 見た目重視で購入されたい方にはおすすめします。
使いやすい 見た目が可愛いし説明書見なくて 使えます 友達にも可愛いと 複数回言われました 後、レコルテのものよりも 少し冷めにくいです
