Legendary Producer David Foster Announces New Album Featuring All-Star Collaborations

Los Angeles, April 6, 2025 – Music icon and 16-time Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster has revealed plans for a star-studded new album, set to release later this year. The project, tentatively titled Legacy, will feature collaborations with some of the biggest names in pop, jazz, and classical music.

Foster, known for his work with legends like Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Michael Bublé, teased the album in an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone. 'This is a celebration of music across generations,' he said. 'I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible artists over the years, and this album brings together both longtime friends and exciting new voices.'

While the full tracklist remains under wraps, insiders report that the album will include duets with contemporary stars like Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, and rising classical crossover sensation, 18-year-old violinist Isabella Rossi. A special tribute to Foster’s late friend and collaborator, Whitney Houston, is also rumored to be in the works.

Fans can expect the first single, a powerhouse ballad featuring Adele, to drop next month. Legacy is scheduled for a September 2025 release, coinciding with Foster’s 76th birthday.

With a career spanning five decades, Foster continues to shape the sound of popular music. As he puts it, 'Great songs never go out of style—they just find new voices.'
