This cueing lever damping oil corrected my quickly dropping tone arm issue very quickly and very easily. I have an AT 120 USB TT and understand that this is an issue experienced by many others. I just bought a vintage Technics turntable and noticed right away that the cueing dropped too fast. I was concerned about adding the wrong type or weight of oil so I was happy to find this. It’s incredibly thick, more like a heavy gel. I squirted some in and then used a toothpick to push it down and coated the sides. It solved the problem. After applying about 2 drops of this damping oil & letting it settle into the piston well area, my tonearm drops with a dampened decent like it should. Worked perfectly as advertised. My tonearm drops nice and steady now. Very satisfied. Price was very reasonable too.
I plan on digitizing LPs and dragged out some old turntables to use in the process. They needed some reconditioning and this fluid (?) is perfect for the dampers. I haven't used the turntables in some time and after some cleaning, maintenance and parts replacement, they work well. Current and past customer service and communication with Turntable Needles is excellent! I will definitely use them again.
BLISS Tonearm Cueing Lever Mechanism Damping Oil
Two of my turntables began losing the gentle and steady lowering of the tonearm. This high viscosity fluid works perfect in replenishing the lesser quality fluid common with most turntable manufacturer. Being silicone based, it will not evaporate or deteriorate as quickly.
This product was exactly what I needed to allow the needle on my turntable to drop softly onto the record. The syringe tip wasn't quite small enough to fit down into the mechanism cylinder but I was able to drip the oil near the top and work it down into the cylinder with a toothpick. This is an excellent product, with a reasonable price, enough for several applications, and packaged right in the syringe.
Used the wrong type of oil on my Technics turntable. Found this site and order the correct oil. Worked great and shipping was fast.
After many years of neglect I decided to revive my Garrard Lab 80. It took some effort an many videos to make it functional again. The final piece to be addressed was the cueing device. In one of the videos it was mentioned that this special grease/oil was available here. I ordered, and received it as expected. It worked perfectly. Good as new.

This was the right stuff to rebuild the cue damping on the Pioneer PL41 I restored. Came promptly and am totally happy.
My turntable needle was dropping too fast so I know I needed to add some damping oil. My Technics SL 1500 had never had this done before so it took me a little while to figure out how to apply this. I purchased the 300K wt. oil and it really helped but ended up using a 500K wt due to a heavy cart/headshell. Works like new now.
Just what my Technics SL-1700 needed. Had to go pretty deep to apply. We’ll worth it. Tonearm glides down so nicely now. Would highly recommend.
I used this to fix the cueing on a Technics SL1900. It took so little of the product that I will have some for many future repairs, if necessary. Now the cueing works well. I wish I did this years ago. Delivery to Canada took about 3 weeks. Good product and good service from TurntableNeedles.
A little goes a VERY long way. My problem was the arm would hang in the air and not drop for a minute. Very thick, I cleaned the cueing mechanism and added a couple of drops and then needed to disassemble and remove some so it would drop faster. Works perfectly now.
I had an issue with the lowering mechanism. Actually started out not lowering as it should. After cleaning out what appeared to be a very sticky substance. The curing device basically was in free fall mode. Added the damping oil and it worked as it was intended. Great product quick delivery.

This item arrived on time, and in good condition. I followed the instructions included to add fluid to the cueing damping piston and solved the problem of the stylus dropping hard on the record. I used this on my Audio-Technica LP120XUSB and it works like a dream. The syringe applicator is definitely handy, as the fluid is rather viscous and sticky and could easily turn into quite a mess without the right tools. The price is right, too--with this much fluid you could fix 8 or 10 turntables. Hopefully I won't have to reapply the fluid again for a long time, if ever, but if I do, I'll have a good supply!
I recently purchased a vial of DampOil for use with my Garrard LAB-80. The item was promptly shipped and sold at a good price. When a small amount was properly applied to my turntable, it worked just as anticipated and the proper damping action was restored to the cueing system. An excellent product at the right price. This stuff is some sticky stuff. It works perfectly. Definitely slowed down the tone arm to a gentle touch onto the vinyl. I didn't get a lot down in there but, where it needed it was on the piston itself. I fear that if I filled the reservoir completely, the tonearm would not settle onto the vinyl. Kinda like a little dab will do ya. The stuff does work though. The one thing I would like to see on the syringe is a longer plastic tip that narrows to the end so that I could get the syringe further inside the cavity and not make as big a mess on the outside and also put more silicone directly on the piston. Other than that, its excellent stuff works great.
Item arrived fast ( from West coast to east coast). Needle drops SLOWLY into vintage vinyl! What's not to like! Peace of mind. AHH!
