Responsibilities:

• Solving incidents that arise during the operation of systems, including highly loaded and cluster systems;
• Load analysis, reading query plans, providing recommendations to developers at the Dev / Test stage;
• Setting up, finalizing monitoring systems, finding bottlenecks;
• Organization of backups and replications, fault tolerance and high availability.

‍Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of PGSQL/mysql;
• Knowledge of basic security tools for various databases (roles, privileges, owner);
• Ways to control and optimize connections to the database;
• Experience with db-proxy;
• Experience in creating test copies of data similar to sales values for the possibility of testing using the data obfuscation method.

• Experience in setting up productive systems;
• Experience in finding solutions to problems in both cloud and classic databases.
• Experience in automating DBA activities and monitoring processes;
• Knowledge of non-relational databases;
• Experience with AWS RDS;
• Understand PGSQL extensions;
