We’re Hiring: Ticket Resale Market Analyst & Inventory Buyer
Remote Opportunity | Paid Trial | Performance-Based Compensation | Potential Long-Term Role
We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded individual to research live events and identify profitable ticket resale opportunities across concerts, sports, and other entertainment categories.
The successful candidate will analyze market data, recommend which tickets to purchase, establish appropriate buying limits, monitor purchased inventory, and determine when and at what price the tickets should be resold.
Previous ticketing experience is helpful but not required. We are also interested in candidates with backgrounds in pricing, forecasting, e-commerce, trading, arbitrage, inventory management, market research, or data analysis.
About Us
We have been in business since 2019 and operate as a fully online company. Our business has continued to grow year after year, and our team currently includes more than 20 people working across different roles and arrangements, including contracted positions.
We are always looking for talented, dependable people who can contribute to our continued growth. This opportunity will begin with a short paid trial designed to evaluate your skills, judgment, work ethic, communication, and overall value to the team.
Candidates who perform well and demonstrate that they are a strong fit may be considered for a long-term opportunity.
Your Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to research events and identify ticket inventory with attractive resale potential.
For each opportunity, you should be able to recommend:
* The event and ticket type to purchase
* The maximum price we should pay per ticket
* The recommended quantity to purchase
* The total amount of capital to allocate
* The expected resale price or price range
* The anticipated profit potential
* The estimated holding period
* The best time or market conditions for selling
* The reasoning behind your recommendation
* The main risks associated with the purchase
We are not looking for someone who simply identifies popular events. A popular artist, team, or event does not automatically represent a profitable buying opportunity.
You will need to consider factors such as current supply and demand, venue size, seating location, sales activity, listing volume, historical pricing, comparable events, market liquidity, the time remaining before the event, and the possibility of additional inventory entering the market.
Your recommendations should be supported by research and realistic assumptions. We value disciplined decision-making and responsible capital management more than unnecessary purchasing activity.
Platforms Provided
During the trial, you will receive access to three portals:
1. Data and Research Portal
A subscription-based research platform used to analyze the ticket market. It provides information about sales volume, recent transactions, active listings, pricing, and overall event activity.
You will use this data to evaluate opportunities and support your recommendations.
1. Buying Portal
The platform used to review and purchase available ticket inventory.
Before recommending a purchase, you should have a clear understanding of the target buying price, maximum acceptable price, appropriate quantity, expected resale value, holding period, and potential risks.
1. Selling and Inventory Portal
The platform used to view purchases, monitor inventory, track market activity, and determine when tickets should be sold.
Your responsibility will continue after the initial purchase. You will be expected to monitor the market and recommend whether inventory should be held, repriced, or sold.
Trial Structure
The trial will last approximately 7–14 days.
You will be provided with a purchasing budget of approximately $20,000. You are not required or expected to use the entire budget.
The budget is a maximum allocation, not a spending target. You should only use the amount you believe is appropriate based on the quality of the opportunities you identify.
If you find only a small number of strong opportunities, using a limited portion of the budget is completely acceptable. If the available opportunities do not justify a purchase, preserving the capital may be the correct decision.
We will evaluate the quality of your research, recommendations, purchasing decisions, selling strategy, communication, and risk management—not simply how much money you spend.
Compensation
Compensation will be primarily commission-based.
You will receive 10% of the realized profit generated from the tickets purchased and sold through your recommendations.
For example:
* Total amount invested: $20,000
* Total resale revenue: $30,000
* Profit generated: $10,000
* Your 10% commission: $1,000
The exact method used to calculate realized profit, including the treatment of any applicable fees, refunds, cancellations, or other adjustments, will be confirmed before the trial begins.
When applying, please also provide your proposed fee or compensation expectation for participating in the 7–14 day paid trial. Clearly state whether your proposed trial fee would be separate from the 10% profit commission.
What We Will Evaluate
During the trial, we will assess:
* The quality and accuracy of your research
* Your ability to identify profitable opportunities
* Your pricing and demand analysis
* Your recommended buying prices and quantities
* Your ability to manage the budget responsibly
* Your understanding of risk and potential downside
* Your inventory-monitoring and selling decisions
* Your communication, reliability, and organization
* Your ability to explain the reasoning behind each decision
* Your overall profitability and value to the business
We understand that no market opportunity is guaranteed. We do not expect every purchase to produce a profit. However, we do expect every decision to be supported by careful research, clear reasoning, and responsible risk management.
Who Should Apply?
You may be a strong candidate if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Ticket resale or ticket brokerage
* Pricing or revenue management
* E-commerce and online marketplaces
* Trading or investment research
* Retail or online arbitrage
* Inventory purchasing and management
* Market research and demand forecasting
* Data analysis
* Sports or entertainment markets
* Consumer behavior and pricing trends
Formal ticketing experience is not essential if you can demonstrate relevant transferable skills.
The ideal candidate will be analytical, commercially aware, dependable, and comfortable making decisions involving real capital. You should be able to work independently, organize your findings clearly, adapt to changing market conditions, and communicate quickly when new information affects an existing position.
How to Apply
Please send us a message containing:
1. A brief introduction about yourself.
2. A summary of your relevant professional experience.
3. Details of any experience in ticketing, pricing, forecasting, e-commerce, trading, arbitrage, inventory management, or data analysis.
4. An example of a situation in which you used research or data to make a purchasing, pricing, or investment decision.
5. A brief explanation of how you would evaluate whether an event represents an attractive ticket resale opportunity.
6. Your availability for a 7–14 day trial.
7. Your proposed price or compensation expectation for the paid trial.
8. Whether you would be interested in a long-term opportunity if the trial is successful.
Please be specific when describing your experience. We are more interested in evidence of strong analytical thinking and responsible decision-making than in generic applications.
This role involves access to confidential company information, purchasing platforms, market data, and real capital. All activity must follow our internal procedures, agreed budget limits, applicable laws, and platform rules.
If you have the analytical ability to recognize profitable opportunities, the discipline to manage capital responsibly, and the judgment to make well-supported buying and selling decisions, we would be interested in hearing from you.
Please apply by sending us a direct message with your experience, availability, and proposed trial price.
